I'm an amateur but gigging guitarist. I need a bag for music, instrument and music stands, leads, cables etc, etc. You would think that specialist music companies would manufacture such a bag for this purpose in an appropriate style. They don't- such a bag does not exist. Let alone choice. Bizarre. So after a lot of browsing I elected for the Eastpak Provider backpack. Although it hasn't been designed for music gear it's ideal for my purposes. It has three compartments: The largest is divided into two with a padded sleeve for a laptop (which I don't have) and a bigger space which has a padded base ideal for my floor pedal and guitar stand. The middle section takes all my music books and music stand and the smallest outer pocket is nonetheless big enough for cables and leads. metronome etc. Basically, I can get all my gear in there with easy access, room to spare and without any of it being mashed up. It's a very well made piece of kit with comfortable shoulder straps and an excellent rubber handle for manual carrying.

Good stuff. Bought a pair of Gravis Carters for 30 quid cheaper than anywhere else and they arrived within 36 hours for only 2 quid postage. Bought some Puma Suedes from them a couple of months ago and the experience was the same.

Bought a luggage bag that was almost £50 higher everywhere else. Had a problem with delivery (not UI's fault, but FedEx's) and this was sorted out by a very nice lady on the phone. Got a phone call back after it had been sorted to make sure that everything was ok.

Urban industries were recommended by my son who does allot of shopping on the internet so I took that on board and ordered a pair of trainers that I had been after for some time but couldn't be bothered getting out there to try them on and be hassled by the shop assistants. They arrived within 2 days of ordering them and were exactly what I wanted so all is well that ends well - easy shopping and I will do it again.
