Lovely garden centre and great cafe. Good coffee and a delicious array of cakes. Had breakfast on one occasion and there was no problem swapping out something. Breakfast was hot and very tasty. Customer service is very good something Hilliers down the road lack. Much nicer here. Treated like valued customers.

Good range of products. A 'Good Morning', 'Can I help you?', 'Thankyou for your visit' would have been 5 stars ✨

Have contacted your garden centre and spoke to a lovely Lisa who was most helpful and cheerful and kind who helped me to buy a present for our friends 40th wedding anniversary (we live in the North East and our friends in Polegate) we had in mind what we wanted to buy and Lisa helped us through the process from start to finish from selecting the rose to the wine to the gift wrapping and even offering a delivery day that was suitable
Thankyou very much Lisa

Loved the new layout. Coffee is pretty good too. Bought some strawberries & they tasted as good as they looked.

I found it rather hot in the coffee shop, ?glass roof, no air flow.
Maybe change layout of shop now, as still like walking into a maze, dead ends, wrong turns, very discombobulated.

I couldn’t recommend Upcountry Stone Cross enough. I went there as I needed to plant up a fairly big sleeper planter. The staff where so friendly and helpful giving me advice on what plants would be best and even arranging home delivery of soil and stones. There was such a big selection of plants I was spoilt for choice. It was also lovely to be able to sit in there cafe and enjoy a coffee and bacon sandwich which my husband was pleased about. Now!! What can I plant next. Thank you Upcountry Stone Cross. I’ll be back soon.

UpCountry is a nice but medium sized garden centre with plenty of the typical seeds, bulbs and plants etc along with all the garden tools, garden furniture you usually associate with garden centres. The staff are friendly and helpful although few. There is a shop attached to it called Fishy Business where you can buy many types of fish, tanks and other associated accessories. Definitely worth a look, I've been a few times. Nice large car park and a café too.

We held my friends baby shower at upcountry garden centre today and the whole experience was fantastic. Gill and Jess were amazing helping us organise it and had the table set up beautifully when we arrived. They were also very flexible when we had changes in numbers. The food itself was delicious and there was plenty of it, and it was presented on mini picnic tables which was lovely. We also had a variety of choice of hot or cold drinks, we all went for hot drinks which were fantastic, the young boy behind the counter was very friendly too! We had a lovely time and everyone was very happy, i would recommend this cafe/garden centre to anyone!

Lovely little garden centre,
It's not like the big ones with massive cafes and gifts, instead it is smaller but with a good range.
The fish section is particularly well stocked.

Well stocked with plants for garden and indoors. Cafe and toilets on site. Parking, and wheelchair access. Don't think much to their Loyalty Scheme, minimum spend of £30.00😞
