This place has really come through some challenges with all the upgrades and issues with weather and floods in the place. Visited here today for lunch it was just generally a warm friendly place to be and the cafeteria food and service was really lovely. Lisa and the lady behind the cafe counter were super helpful and welcoming even to my well behaved dog and it was really a pleasure to visit the place. Living nearby I'm so pleased that its really put itself back on the map with the new ownership. Every business needs a Lisa' too a credit to the place as is the plesant longstanding lady at the checkout who I think is from the ? North? It's thanks.

3pm 23rd November had a wonderful afternoon birthday tea. Looked after very well by Both Jan and Lisa. Service excellent and the food great, very good value, visiting from Devon, would recommend a visit.

The staff are so amazing at this place - helpful and know their job. I arrived too late for the cafe, but they immediately set to, and put the kettle on, together with a freebie scone which was delicioso. That's what I call friendliness and hospitality, going over and above red tape.<br><br>I also got a free delivery of two giant bags of All-purpose compost, traditional blend ( I don't think that is on offer any more - it was just during lockdown).<br><br>When the young gentleman delivered the compost, he gave me good advice on all my herbal plants.<br><br>Oh yes, UpCountry know their job, offer helpful advice AND go the extra mile! Thank you Upcountry for a great and surprising afternoon!❤️🌹✝️

I like this garden centre they have interesting items for the garden. Unfortunately not sufficient staff to assist you but they do try and help you. Best to visit at a quiet time if you need help.

Nice little garden centre which has improved significantly since it changed to Upcountry. New farm shop added and cafe on site. Plus little Timmy the cat is still there waiting for a fuss 😺 Fishey Business is also on site (separate company) who stock most items for aquariums and ponds. Spacious car park outside.

Staff only interested in talking between the reserves same as when they were at glyndley Garden Centre. Also out side small koi tanks filthy need a really good clean .I have kept fish for 50 years so I know what I am talking about
