We booked a table last minute on a Friday evening no problem. From the outside the restaurant is so deceiving, we would never have guessed how busy it was ! We were greeted by smiles and had the door opened for us. We sat at out table
promptly, ordered a bottle of the Rioja and some water. The waiter made us feel relaxed. I ordered the porterhouse t bone and my parter the sirloin. Sides were mushrooms and creamed spinach. All was cooked wonderfully. Dessert was the cheeseboard with a glass of port each. Again delicious! Pay for what you get and will definitely be back. :)

We had our Son & his Girlfriend visiting and decided at the last minute to go out for lunch. Decided to return to the Two Bulls, Eastbourne following two previous visits in the last 12 months - didn't disappoint in anyway!
We also had our 9 year old with us and although limited menu, she really enjoyed the Chicken. The Steaks were first class, as was the quality of the service.
Without a doubt, the best Steaks in Eastbourne - if you haven't tried it, I suggest you make the effort!!

Lovely venue, very pleasant and helpfull staff, great to be able to see in the kitchen, even getting a hello from the chefs. Immaculate surroundings, and to top it all the food was cooked perfectly, and flavoured. 10/10 !!!!

Visited on a cold evening in January. We arrived without reservations and learned there were no openings in the restaurant for some time. But they very kindly made an exception and served us a meal in the lounge because they were just starting to serve in the restaurant. We sat by a lovely fire; I had an excellent steak, my husband had shrimp and we both had some very nice red wine. Highly recommended for the food, the atmosphere, and the welcoming service.

Good service and good food. Main courses weren't massive for the price but apparently you can get extra fries free. But if you weren't full up like me, go for the desserts which are actually massive portions and are very good indeed. All in all, a good steak house but pricy though...

Last minute decision to go out tonight and decided on the Two Bulls, Eastbourne. Had a very welcoming entrance and very attentive, informative but not too in your face waiter called Billy. He was so well informed about everything on the menu and so happy and fun and so pleased to be of help to us but not so in our faces that was annoying. We all said we'd like him to come work with us (as we all run our own businesses). My 4 year old son was equally welcomed and looked after just as we were. Nothing was too much trouble and the owner and other staff were just as lovely. Our steaks were all cooked to perfection and pudding was amazing too. Very happy to leave a big tip and would absolutely recommend to all and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you all so much for a lovely evening. Best wishes, Clare & Jason @ Male Concept & Perfect Elegance. Xxx

Visited here with family on a Sunday and was very very impressed.
I ordered from the lunch time special menu which was brilliant value. The quality of food was excellent with my steak being done to perfection, although it looked small I can assure you it thicker than my sisters sirloin and resulted in me being last to finish!!
All sides were absolutely beautiful and we all fought over the creamed spinach which was fantastic!I decided to finish with the roasted peanut banoffee which was made of dreams, I've never seen anything like it and it did not disappoint!!!
Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and nothing was too much hassle. Atmosphere and setting was also brilliant. Would come again not just for the food but also the service and atmosphere.
Overall a very positive experience and will be visiting again very soon!

Wow amazing
French quality steak cooked to perfection I like my steak rare how they cook it in France, and they do it just the same.
45 day aged rib eye cooked rare was Perfect.
I visited the coal shed in Brighton and they could learn a thing or two from TBS.
Coal shed over cooked their charcoal cooked steak when I visited.
Lovely people, lovely food Beef heaven
Will be coming again soon

Converted old pub with nice but not luxurious deco inside.

The price for the steaks were very reasonable and the quality is better than some of the steakhouse in London, UK.

Good steak meals at this Eastbourne restaurant in Old Town. Prices aren't the cheapest but worth it.

Always good food, probably best steak anywhere, with good service. Good value especially at lunch time. Been many times, never lets us down. Keep up the good work.

We went with friends for an evening meal and had steak. The food was good, nothing special, the sauce tasted pre-prepared, and service was also good but it was quite pricey and would probably not go again as I would expect something more special for the price..

Booked 2 weeks ahead for 6 @ 1pm. Showed to top floor, very chilly (large windows, no heating). Served with drinks fairly quickly, ordered 2 bottles of wine, only one arrived. Waited an age for an order to be taken, glasses empty no further drinks offered. Food slow but ok, the steaks were good. House wines poor. We ordered coffee but were not offered any sugar to go with it.
Toilets were unkept, and our 2 hour lunch didnt get any warmer (some people sat in jackets)
In short: Not cheap lunch, service was dreadful as the staff were very unattentive and I wont return.

We grew up frequenting this place as the old Tally Ho and steakhouse. It was a shame it closed but having eaten at the Hastings restaurant we were thrilled to see this open as a Two Bulls Restaurant. We eat here several times a year and have enjoyed Easter and Christmas Day lunches here over the last couple of years. Sometimes you can wait a bit too long for a drink but we can put up with this because of the delicious steak. Our son is essentially a carnivore and regards this place as heaven on earth. They are happy to take your steak away and adjust how it is cooked. They know their meat as well so it is always worth asking. We would thoroughly recommend this place if you are in the mood for meat!! Some of the steaks are more expensive than what you get elsewhere but it is well worth it in our opinion.

Great steak. Salad dressing was delish. Service was super friendly and efficient. Delphine, our waitress was a delight. Can't wait to come back. Only criticism was too bright.

This pub is very well run, the staff is very efficient, smiling and friendly.
The place has a pleasant and warm atmosphere, full of local people, the menu offers a large choice of meat based dishes. We tried the 45 day aged sirloins; the portions were large with fries and salad, the meat tasty and properly cooked (on the grill obviously). The choice of red wine is limited with ~5-7 names with quite a few around £20 offering a fair beverage to go with the meat.
The desserts are a must-try, I recommend the tiramisu.

Very good, traditionally cooked, authentic Italian pizza’s. Brilliant range of toppings to choose from, served with chilli and garlic oil to dip the crusts in – delicious.

This place is amazing! My girlfriend ordered the ribs and I had the tbone porterhouse steak, probably the best steak I've ever tasted! Quite pricy but well worth the money if you want quality! We had the peanut butter bannoffee pudding and was the best bannoffee I've tasted!
