We discovered this gem of a place around a year , after moving to Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne from London and have visited many times , taking our friends and family members as well as just the two of us
This is a Top notch London quality steakhouse in Sussex , Friday night is our favorite night as the three course with quality bottle of wine meal for two deal for £60 is just fantastic value
My mother only eats fish and they also have a great fish selection
The staff are welcoming , the manager Annie is sooooo friendly she couldn't do enough for you
Lastly a gotta give a mention to our waitress Keira the pocket rocket !!!.... 5'1" bundle of fun she made our night , not only great service with a massive cheeky smile and ex army stories

I am the first to moan about something when it isn't done properly and or something is wrong however I genuinely don't have a bad word to say about this place.
Over the last couple of years I have been to many Steakhouse's this is up there in the top two along with a little family run one in Croydon.
The staff are friendly. The restaurant is a converted pub which gives a unique atmosphere. The kitchen is open so you can see within.
The prices for a set meal on a Friday night of £60 for three courses including a bottle of wine. What you get for this in my opinion is brilliant.
The steak was perfectly cooked, what more could you ask for in a steakhouse?
I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend however remember to book as it is extremely busy.

The restaurant was quiet on our visit and we had a really lovely evening. The staff were welcoming and you can see through to the kitchen as your food is prepared. We bbq our own steak regularly so getting a good steak is a challenge and we got it here. I enjoyed a 6oz fillet and my husband mastered the T-bone. Both cooked perfectly as ordered. Leave space for pud though!

This was a special trip to celebrate my retirement and my wife’s birthday whilst we were on a break in Eastbourne.
It was recommended by Neil at the Pebble Beach B&B.My steak was exceptional and cooked to perfection. My wife is not a big red meat eater and had the chicken with lime mayonnaise – “the best chicken she has ever had”. The presentation of the food looked so appetizing.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly.I highly recommend a visit – we would definitely return here.

My steak was very overcooked. I asked for medium rare and it came out almost burnt. Considering they are a steakhouse I was hoping that they could cook a steak to a customers liking! Easton mess was horrible. I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend it

Not being a big meat lover Inwas dubious about eating here but have been back 7 times. The meat is to die for, like we used to get! Try the satay steak skewers with peanut sauce - OMG delicious.
Took the family there last weekend, 6 plus a 4 yr old. We were given just the right amount of attention but the service was personal, just right - the lovely Annie served us. Nothing is too much trouble of them. They and the food is fantastic. You MUST give it a try. You will go back.

My wife and I decided to have the £50 three-course option. Excellent value; steaks cooked exactly as ordered; staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. If we go back to Eastbourne, we'll definitely re-book.

Been meaning to go for some time as I have been recommended it. Had the lunchtime special 7oz rump cooked to perfection and the raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Service was good, staff attentive but not in your face as they should be.

I took my family and their partners and kids for Sunday lunch as part of the Birthday Celebrations for our eldest son. Altogether there were 9 of us.The place was warm and comfortable, There was pleasant and non intrusive background music. The attention from staff was spot on, attentive, but not obtrusive. The variety of meals ordered must have been a challenge, notwithstanding all meals arrived together. The food quality was outstanding and for the price very surprising. From my point of view the steak lived up to the establishments reputation of excellence, one of the best steaks I have ever eaten.
The final bill including drinks all round, less than £100 for nine people. With this quality at these prices the Toby carvery just lost a bunch of diners. Highly recommended.

Visiting The 2 Bulls in Eastbourne and sampling any of their steaks made me realise how poor any of the steaks I'd ever eaten before was. The 2 Bulls certainly know how to buy, age and cook steak......The staff are both friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about their product. The wine list is small but beautifully chosen to compliment the streaks on the menu. After my first visit I've since returned regularly. Highly recommended.

I've been meaning to try this restaurant for ages as I'd heard good things about it. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and took advantage of a lunchtime offer. Rump steak cooked to perfection. Great chunky chips. We had a couple of side dishes, beers and a cheeseboard and the bill came out a lot less than expected. Would definitely go again (if I had a day off work). Service was good too. Staff were friendly and attentive but not imposing. We took our newborn son along and they helped us when leaving the restaurant by opening a side door for us. To summarise, a pleasant experience that I will repeat.

Interesting looking building contains a decent enough steakhouse. Good choice of steaks that were definitely improved by the charcoal grilling taste. Excellent chips. Very pleasant, chatty staff. Wine list could be improved.

Just had a meal at the Two Bulls! Really good deal, Thursday night meal offer at £50,including wine! My husband said best steak he has ever tasted! Mine was also very tasty, although I don't usually order steak as have had some very bad steak meals in the past. I certainly wasn't disappointed on this occasion! The waitresses are really friendly and the atmosphere so relaxed. Can't wait to go back again!

We came to the restaurant as a treat for our children (who are 8 and 10 years old) on the last Friday lunch time before going back to school at the end of the Easter break; and the £8 lunch time menu makes something rather special very affordable. We all loved it. We all had the 8oz Rump steak and with scrummy house chips a fresh dressed crispy green salad. My wife and the boys had the garlic butter sauce and I had the green peppercorn sauce this time - all delicious. We like coming here for the amazing steak first and foremost but the whole package works so well. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the restaurant was nicely filled, service was prompt and we had a warm 'buzz' about the place. The building is charming inside and out, and the waiting staff are attentive and friendly. We had an extremely enjoyable meal, and the complimentary extra chips went down a treat. It is well priced, beautiful food, prepared to a extremely high standard by people that care about what you think and know what they are doing. If you haven't been already I urge you to do so. I am so pleased to have such a gem on our doorstep, and I look forward to going again shortly

One of our absolute favourite places - we come here roughly once a month (sometimes more if we can!). The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are always friendly and efficient and the food is fabulous! Hands down the best steak, the chips are chunky, crispy and fluffy inside. The sauces are delicious and the creamed spinach is the best! We have tried all of the desserts - can't fault them but our favourite is the tiramisu. You will not regret going here!

Came here with my family for an evening meal. We were all really impressed with the food and the quality of the steaks. The service was very friendly and efficient and we all had a really lovely evening. It was our first visit here, but will definitely not be our last!! (Ps. my nephew had the banoffie pie for dessert - OMG, amazing)!

Once again these guys knocked it out of the park. My second visit last night and once again I can not fault the food or service, officially my favorite place to eat. Steak once again was cooked perfectly, chips are honestly the best around even the salad tastes so good and I'm no rabbit. Will be back soon, highly recommend.
