Ridiculously delicious food. I dont live in Eastbourne but I will come back here just for this food. I stuffed myself so bad I cant move was so tasty:)))) funny that bad reviews here are from Indian people. I witnessed Indian man sitting down and ordering one tapas? Seriously?! And being rude witn owner cause he would be happy probaly only if he fed him for free. I've ordered 3 tapas and a beer. Made me super full, cause theyre quite big for tapas and spent same as I went to Nando's or Wagamama. I'd pay double for this taste. Happy it wasn't expensive :)

Really good food, plenty of flavours and spices, doesn't seem alot of food as they are small bowls but actually very filling. Would visit again as also found the staff friendly, very good to be made welcome.

Perfect for lunch, freshly made food to order.
Good service, friendly waiter. Clean restaurant.
Trio of chicken starter is delicious, prawns were perfect, nice light batter. Chilli chicken was very tasty, spot on.
Cutlery is uncomfortable to use, but apart from that this is the ideal place for lunch, we visit every time we are in this area, just a few times each year unfortunately, shame it's not nearer to home.

I’ve been meaning to visit this place for a while and so glad I did! The dishes are not the same as you get everywhere.
I had the thali was was delicious and also had a spicy egg roll which I loved! My husband had a lamb curry and the lamb was so tender and the sauce was more authentic than you get most places. All the portions are served tapas style and we had so many that we couldn’t manage dinner!
The service was friendly and quick, I can’t wait to go back!

The decor is perfectly fitting, as is the music and atmosphere - all very relaxed and lively. The service was perfect essentially, and the menu is refreshing and large. There is so much to pick from, and it excites you seeing what options you have. They have a tapas-style selection of dishes, and full single meals as well.
Overall, I have no complaints as I had an excellent lunch there! I would really recommend!

Visited on a Saturday eve as passed by and thought it looked Great! even it was packed...they fitted us in and apologised for the short wait to order (which we not a problem for us) we had the mixed tandoori platter, onion bhajis, paneer sticks, dhal fry and fish cakes!! It was all amazing and hands down the best Indian food we have had (even when in India) totally recommend this place, staff were lovely too.

Finally good Indian food!!
Ordered golgappas, meat thali, biryani and the tandoori platter. Everything tasted amazing. I do have one complaint. The masala chai was way too milky.

Came here with my parents ( we are quite fussy about indian food being indians!). We enjoyed the food and would recommend this place - the stuffed paratha and channa puri were well made, tasty and good spicing!. The dosa and sambhar were average. the staff are very friendly and there's good vibe in the place

I love Indian food, so to find a tapas style Indian restaurant was amazing. The food arrived in good time, was delicious and the service was extremely attentive. I can’t believe we haven’t been here before! Highly recommend and will be visiting regularly!

The food is so delicious.
I was really impressed that the menu is actually street food rather than the dated curry house menu, usually found in Indian restaurant. We had a vegetarian thali, Meat thali, railway snacks and a dosa. I've never sat at a table in an Indian restaurant and seen every single bit of food eaten at the end of the meal. ( I recently went to Dashoon in London after waiting 3 months to get a booking and the food was not as good as Tuk Tuk)
The interior has a contemporary and stylish feel, which is great for Eastbourne's development. I love the use of authentic Indian accessories and Indian music.
A great place. Will be there lots ! Well done Tuk Tuk.

Had dinner at tuck tuck on Thursday 12th July. The food here is excellent. We had three different dishes each and everyone of them was delicious. The portions of food was very good, just the right size. Service was great. I really enjoyed eating here and look forward to going again.

A different take on Indian food. Love the choice and variety of flavours. If you like Indian food I would definitely recommend this place. It's often quite quiet with a relaxed feel.

I am the kind of person that goes to Indian restaurants because my friends like it; but I am always afraid of spicy (hot) food. I simply cannot eat it, so I always say I have allergies and then end up with the same plate: Saag paneer. This whole picture changed last week when a friend took me to Tuk Tuk; what a pleasure! I really loved every single tapa style dish we tried. I highly recommend this gem.

7 of us had lunch here today. A severely hot Saturday. We ordered 3 dishes each, as recommended, and passed then around, so a super-sized mixed Thali. Every dish was excellent. Hot, tasty and beautiful. The service was frienfdy and efficient and it was very cheap. We'll certainly be back. You could drop in for a snack or enjoy a fully fledged banquet. Very child friendly too.

Curry is not only the UK’s favourite food, but in some respects a national barometer. A good Dhansak is a good Dhansak regardless of location, from Edinburgh to - as it just so happens - Eastbourne.
We happened upon Tuk Tuk via TripAdvisors recommendations and called in just after the lunchtime rush (I imagine “rush” in Eastbourne is somewhat relative). We were quickly seated and presented with really interesting menus. As per usual we over-catered, selecting three reasonably large plates to share.
The food was brilliant. The Tandoori chicken was wonderful, beautifully charred on the outside but succulent in the middle, and the butter chicken was equally flavoursome. Service was fantastic - one of the best-run places we tried in our week on the south coast.
On a slight downside, ordering a number of small dishes can quickly add up, but this is true of tapas and sushi as well. We still felt like we had good value for money.
Thoroughly recommended.
