Too expensive for the taste.

Really nice restaurant with lovely Indian food. It’s a really good concept and a bit like tapas with an Indian theme. Quality of food is excellent, very well prepared and lovely flavours. The restaurant recommend three dishes between two, and I think this is spot on. Service is very good and attentive. Probably a little more expensive that the regular Indian place, but service and quality make it worth it. I will be returning soon.

This place looks a bit like an 80's cafe, but don't let that put you off or you will miss out on one of the best places to eat in the area!
Food is cooked fresh to order, chicken tender, juicy and full of flavour. Meat equally as good and varied selection on the menu too. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Nice drinks selection available as well.
Cutlery uncomfortable to use unfortunately and seating not designed to be sat in for long, but for a quick lunch stop you cannot go wrong with Tuk Tuk, we eat here every time we are in the area. Great friendly welcoming staff, good service much appreciated.
Looking forward to returning.

The service was excellent, friendly but not intrusive. I ordered a potato Dosa which was scrumptious, just like the ones I had in Mumbai on a visit. My husband ordered the vegetarian Thali. Portions were very generous. I could have done with a little more spice on my food but could not fault the freshness of all the food. We had the Bel Puri as well which was so crispy, vegetable samosa, mango chutney, rice and we had masala potato cubes which were excellent! All in all a lovely clean and very tasty food.

Went with friends for lunch. We loved the decor and presentation of the environment which was spotless. Plenty of choices on the menu made up of small "tapas" sized dishes and some mains. Despite the menu saying the mains were "not suitable for sharing " (not sure why) we did. Dishes were delicious being well presented and more subtle in their spicing than in many places but with good depth of flavour. Only the masala dosa was impressive on the plate but less flavoursome than others we have had before.
The journey to the loos went past the bar and entrance to the kitchen which looked immaculate. loos well presented too. Food overall very nice. Service efficient enough but when we went it lacked warmth. Would we return? Sometime yes.

Really enjoyed my visit here. Awesome veggie and vegan options. Whilst slightly more than your traditional Indian restaurants compared to other small plates places the prices are very reasonable.

After reading some of the reviews I decided to give it ago and I am no connoisseur of Indian food, I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Tuk Tuk
All the food ordered was delicious and tastyThe only less positive thing I would say is because the menu is quite varied you tend to order quite a few options and the dishes can be a bit expensive... nevertheless the service was excellent and I’ll sure to visit again

If you are vegan and like Indian food then this place is for you. They have a vegan menu that is offered when you are seated; I’d recommend the Vegetable Kaidai!

We went to Tuk Tuks after reading reviews online, I was reluctant but my boyfriend talked me into it and it was the best Indian I’ve had in my life! They do small dishes, like tapas. I had sag paneer, butter chicken and onion bahjis with rice and a naan which was all amazing! We shared a Kadai curry and my boyfriend had a platter of tandoori meats. All was very well priced and we walked out totally full and totally happy! 10/10, would recommend!

Food is really nice, the staff friendly and attentive & they have a good selection of gluten-free dishes for those of us who would love to munch our way through the entire menu but would suffer big time for it. If you find yourself getting a little warm because some spicy treat is maybe a tad warm, then some of the mango lassi is a super-delicious way to cool things off

I am heavily pregnant at the moment so can't eat Indian food in the evening as it is too heavy so we opted for an Indian lunch. We were not sure what to expect but it was very difficult to choose what tapas to have. We went for 7 tapas dishes in total - 2 curries, rice, garlic naan, daal, bajis and poppadom/chutney starter. This was a good amount of food for 2 people and left us feeling pleasantly full.
The waiter was very friendly and accommodating and I liked the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant. He warned us in advance that there might be a bit of a delay on food which i thought was good.
The food is not particularly spicy but it doesn't suggest it would be so it is quite good for people who are new to Indian or who like the flavours without the kick.
We very much enjoyed our meal and I would recommend it to any locals who have not tried it yet.

Was recommended Tuk Tuk. Positive is attentive service and good selection of dishes. Food was mixed though. The thali's were average, but really enjoyed the tuk tuk aloo.

Lovely little restaurant with wonderful staff. I am minus a limb but that was not a problem as they catered to my every whim. Food was just so yummy and scrummy, but I am worried to see what comes out of my bummy tomorrow. The only negative was the vol au vents, not up to standard.

Tasty food and quick service. Staff were kind and attentive even though we could see they were very busy. If ever in Eastbourne again this would be a restaurant to consider

We popped in for a quick lunch around 2pm and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We both opted for the Tandoori Platter each, we also shared a bowl of masala chips and 2 X parathas.
The Tandoori Platter is fantastic, great size and great selection, the sauces that came with it were tasty and the naan bread soft and yummy. This was our 2nd visit and won't be our last.

Had dinner with my Mum last week and was very impressed with Tuk Tuk! We shared a tapas style selection of dishes and thought each one was delicious. Friendly service and they’ve decorated the place really nicely too - felt comfortable. Very happy to have discovered this restaurant.

We have been visiting Tuk tuk for a couple of years now mainly at lunchtime. As vegetarians we find there's is alot of choice. The food is always delicious freshly cooked and presented well. The railway snack is a personal favourite it's so good! We have brought along other family members and friends who have also been impressed with the food. We have always had good service even when the kids make a right mess they are always courteous towards us. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and always clean. I enjoy the authentic metal dishes used to serve the food too.

We were well looked after and all the food we chose was great. Such a variety. Comfortable seating and attentive staff - we will definitely be back! Don’t miss this gem.
