Very nice pre cinema meal. Unusual tapis style serving that works well.

I dont have much to say, except...amazing! Remindered me of the same food I ate during my month in India!!
Reasonably priced and the Tahlia is to die for.
If you want a western style chicken tikka, masala or some other weatern curry slop go elsewhere - if you want an authentic Indian meal Tuk Tuk is your place.
Thank you to the manager and all the staff who made our meal a great experience

We went there not expecting it to be as busy as it was. We sat on a small table for 2 where my partner could see the kitchen and was amazed at how clean and how everything was so efficient, It really was Indian food with a difference. I had the Seafood Thali which consisted of several different thing but most exceptional was the calamari ...that was cooked to perfection. The manager was so attentive not just to us but every person who came through the door. I will certainly be going back there but will make sure that i book a table next time....Thank you for a fantastic meal.

We went for a mixture of little dishes, and to be honest I can't remember what they all were! What I do do know is that they tasted great and we had some left at the end we couldn't finish. I have no idea, not having been to India, how close this is to Indian Street Food, but we're rating it as some of the most enjoyable (if not the most enjoyable) Indian food we've ever had. The staff (there appeared to be only four of them, two front of house and two in the kitchen) were great, friendly, as chatty as they could be with that number of covers, they were full, and we were impresed with the way the two front of house staff clearly knew what the other one was doing so while they both served our table there was no doubling up of requests or questions. They were totally killing it :-)

Its the best Indian Restaurant on the South Coast. I give it top marks. The manager treats all his customers like V. I. P's. He makes every body feel extremely welcomed.

Visited on a whim while in Eastbourne.
Came up on google with great reviews and we were not disappointed..
Lovely bright place, amazingly comfortable chairs and tables, great indian bolly music and a spot-on street food menu.
We ordered samosa chana chaat, bhel puri, golgappas, chilli chicken and a egg roll..
To say that all of it was stunning and absolutely delightful is an understatement. It all took me back home to India and its street food. We had a lovely afternoon lunch.
This is going to be a once a month drive for some great Indian street food.

My friend who is vegan and I came here for lunch. I have the veggie thali and she had an extensive menu to choose from before opting for a spinach dish. The food was delicious. I loved the naan bread, thin, soft and freshly cooked. The portions were just right in terms of size. There was a lot of flavour in the dishes And the variety was good.
The restaurant itself looks nice and the owner delivered great service

First time visit and wasn't dissapointed. Lots of tapas dishes, so you can try several dishes for the price of one meal. Not far off the seafront, nicely decorated and furnished and good friendly service.

I dropped in for an impromptu lunch the other day and was very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I have enjoyed street food in India and found that this was as close as it gets to the real thing. Excellent.

I had a fantastic meal at Tuk Tuk last night!
I love to eat the “street food” style of Indian cuisine as I find it less heavy on my digestive system than a traditional restaurant meal!
The food at Tuk Tuk is really tasty - you can actually taste the different spices!
My friend isn’t overly keen on very spicy curries and we felt the guide on the menu represented the spice level accurately.
There’s a great selection for all tastes (and budgets) and it took us ages to choose as we wanted to try everything! In the end we chose a selection of the smaller street food dishes (very similar to tapas in terms of size and price) and shared everything.
There’s also a specific Vegan Menu and plenty of choices for vegetarians.
We had a few questions about the food and a couple of the drinks on offer and both members of staff were really helpful and answered our questions with great information.
If you’re used to visiting a traditional Indian restaurant then I’d encourage you to give Tuk Tuk a try to experience the “street food” side of Indian cuisine.
The menu is available online so it will give you chance to have a look in advance if you’re not sure how “street food” is different to the dishes at a traditional Indian restaurant.
Oh and try the mango lassi - I wasn’t sure but I’m totally converted after trying it!

Great Indian food and glad we found Tuk Tuk. The place has a hip, contemporary feel with brightly colored tables and chairs, a spice/herb mural on a wall; wood textured wall paper on the other wall. We enjoyed the Swedish raspberry cider, but dinner was the highlight. We had tandoori sausage with a chicken kabab and the chicken thali. Both were delicious.
There was scaffolding on the building around the entrance to Tuk Tuk, but we found our way to their delicious food.
