Having raised 2 issues about companies you promote I don’t think you care about anything other than taking money off people to promote their business. We received £300 from one company you promote as they damaged our property. When I mentioned this I was threatened by the owner of the company. I recently raised concerns about reviews left by partners of a business and was not taken seriously, apparently it’s ok for people to submit reviews if they are in a relationship with the owner of the business being reviewed. Apparently because I’m in the same industry I’m classed as a competitor and not taken seriously, I’m hardly a competitor when my successful business turns over substantially more than the company I reported.

Hi Mark, thebestof Head Office did receive a query regarding a Google review displayed on a business profile on thebestof Eastbourne. They investigated this and didn't find any evidence to suggest the review didn't comply with the reviews policy. The other review reported was for a business and review that is not featured on thebestof Eastbourne. I'm afraid we aren't aware of what you're referring to about £300 from a company for damaged property or who you say you have mentioned this to in your review. Thank you for your feedback.

I attended the Best of Eastbourne October meet up and I must say it was completely different from any other networking event I've ever been to. No early start no connecting while trying to.eat your breakfast no pressure to produce a 60 second sales pitch - a very relaxed informal event meeting like minded local business owners at a great venue and all organised for us by Dave Ruddle - I had a great time met some lovely people and have had coffee with a few since. So much nicer to make friends some of which you may do business with.
