David is a great asset to Eastbourne. His local knowledge is vast and the Best Of website is a fantastic hub for all things Eastbourne. It is a great platform for businesses and charities alike to promote their services, but also to find services they require. It's rare finding people as responsive and helpful as David Ruddle. Not only does he have a super 'Best of Eastbourne' blog, he is one of the only people I've encountered for a while who actually does what he says. On a recent communication with him, he responded within minutes - first by phone and then (when the phone was busy) by email.
If every service was as speedy and conscientious as this, the business world would be an easier place!

We have been using David for over 6 years now, helping with our marketing and getting noticed in Eastbourne. Since then he's given countless amounts of advice and help with various social media platforms that I wasn't confident on, encouraging blog posts, SEO and the most impact is reviews, since working with David our team has managed to be review-focused going from a couple of reviews when the business was started to now getting regular reviews. Needless to say, this has had a huge impact on our business getting more business. From going to his master classes learning about SEO, how to write posts, what to write in a blog etc he has helped me gain 1st page Google spots for various services we supply all organically, most recently with EV, this was massive for me so thank you. Lastly during COVID lockdown when no one knew what was happening or if your business was going to survive he was there promoting, liking, commenting and sharing business posts left, right and centre. Highly recommend and we will continue to use.

Attended my first TheBestOf event this week and I highly recommend! David phoned after I registered my entry to introduce himself and explain how he runs the events to ensure you get the most out of it. Always interesting and useful to attend David's Business Meet Up events. Today was really busy. Many new people (welcome to them), lots of inspiration and, even more, lots of follow up. had a few issues with my ad. so I sent an email to David Ruddle asking hi about them and he sent back a very considerate and comprehensive answer - not some generalized blah about FAQs, but specific to my problem. That was excellent! More than that: the fact that I made contact with a human and not an algorithm was impressive; the speed of reply also, and the fact that it was New Year's eve... Amazing!!

I found yesterday’s Business Boost meeting at the Cumberland so invigorating. Everyone was so full of enthusiasm and offered so many . It was also delightful to meet people face to face and bounce ideas off each other.
The focus of the meeting was to plan for 2022 and now have so many new ideas to think about.
