Being a admirer of David's marketing efforts. I sought his advice on some local marketing I myself was running. In this instance I sent over my marketing letter which was going in my local neighbourhood. David came back with a few small changes to the text which made a HUGE difference to the overall response from letter. I know this as fact having done a similar thing in the past which had barely a fraction of the overall success. Not only did I get extra business from David's advice but I now have a renewed mind-set when tackling future marketing. To conclude, David is the 'Go to guy' for you local marketing needs.

I recently discussed some social media questions with David and was really pleased with his knowledge of social media. In-particular he helped me with Twitter and this improved my engagement with my customers overnight. I would like to add here that Davids enthusiasm for supporting local business is absolutely incredible, the way that local business is represented is absolutely top class, bringing those businesses to the attention of a bigger customer base than they could ever hope for on their own. David and Zarah have written a feature for me which represents my business which I looked over before publication, it blew me away I didn't have to amend anything, the writing style was engaging, interesting, well researched and above all represents my business in a great light for those outside of our industry looking in. Within our third year at the University of Brighton, we had to create and promote a new product or service that brings innovation to today's' hospitality industry. Our group decided to create a new bottled beverage, consisting of beer mixed with cocktail ingredients. We called it Beertails. Since we were aware that social media, in this case especially Facebook, is a big marketing engine, we really worked hard to get people liking and talking about our Beertails page. After a few weeks of further establishing our product we decided to step up in the game and contacted David Ruddle from TheBestOf Eastbourne. We knew David already from another Uni project and he was instantly excited to help us. He just asked us to write a press release, containing all the important information about Beertails and what happened after that was simply amazing! Due to David's' numerous contacts and extraordinary networking skills, he helped us by mobilizing TheBestOf Eastbourne community and publishing our press release to gain a hundred Facebook LIKE's within only four days!! By giving us a platform through the website and the community of TheBestOf Eastbourne he helped us become a Facebook success and we are still very happy about it :)

Became a member of TheBestOfEastbourne a few months ago. I have been very impressed with David Ruddle who I have mainly dealt with. I have found that David does his utmost for TheBestOf members and this is worth the membership fees alone. I have seen enquiries arising from my page and made some useful contacts, it's definitely a get out what you put in type of service and I'm confident the more I put into it the better results I will see. I also believe that TheBestOf Eastbourne will continue to grow with David.

With Christmas approaching I decided the ideal gift for my in-laws was a great meal at a recommended local restaurant in their area, however I am 180 miles away and needed some advice from a local expert. David at thebestof Eastbourne was incredibly helpful. He suggested a great local restaurant that would appeal to my relatives taste (The Hidden Cellar), and then spoke to the owners on my behalf. Within hours of our conversation, the restaurant telephoned me, emails were exchanged, funds were transferred and a fabulous voucher delivered to my in-box. WHAT GREAT SERVICE! Thank you Dave for going the extra mile (180 in my case)!
