Four years ago we purchased a modern but run-down house in Meads. We immediately realised that the whole property needed a thorough overhaul of it's electrical systems. Techtonic was recommended to us by neighbours so we engaged them to carry out renovations to the systems.
They have installed low-consumption lighting, a new consumer unit, new alarm system, satellite TV (now replaced with Lightening Fibre technology) new telephony, two new TV's, new surround sound systems and high-power bathroom fan extraction. Currently we are discussing having solar panels installed together with battery storage.
Highlights include reducing the number of visible switches and spurs in our kitchen from 24 to 7 without any loss of function.
It's not just the quality of workmanship we appreciate, it's the responsiveness of the engineers and their willingness to explain what they have done and how we can best use it. Polite, calm and always clean-working we cannot recommend them highly enough. Steve and Marcus

James came out very quickly the day after I made contact. I had lost my TV signal. He realigned my TV aerial as it was facing towards Hastings instead of Heathfield. He also made other adjustments and retuned by BT Top Box and DVD recorder. He gave good advice too.

Yet again Nigel has helped with our bathroom renovation getting the electrics ready for our plumbs for a new towel rail, shaver socket and illuminated mirror, upgrading the bathroom fan and updating a non compliant bathroom light which I wasn’t aware of to LED down lights and we had a horrible pull cord for the light and we now have a light switch outside the bathroom. Always leaves our house clean and tidy in the area he’s worked. Also recommended our lounge lights to change from halogen to LED and found the model to help save some pennies with the energy all up in the air. Thank you, always happy to recommend.

Tectonic installed a car charging point for me and I'm very pleased with the installation. The engineers made an extra effort to conceal the cables. They were clean and tidy and carried all the necessary tools. They explained the operation procedures clearly. Highly recommended.

Tectonic installed the original shared TV system (FreeSat/Freeview/Sky/DAB) in our flats 12 years ago, using an innovative and cost-effective approach. It has worked flawlessly till recently when the loft amplifier died. They attended promptly to diagnose the problem and then came promptly to fix it, again cost-effectively. I'm happy to recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend Nigel for all electrical needs whether it’s at home or business related. Tectonic is a one stop shop for electrics, lighting, tv aerial and satellite, cctv, EV charging point installations and more. I like to be able to use a local Eastbourne business who can provide multiple solutions all at once without the issues of contact several people. Nigel came round recently for a fuseboard change which we needed whilst he was here we asked him to help get us ready for our new main bathroom rip out ready for the new one in July as we weren’t using it as well as some odds jobs whilst there. Nigel and James upgraded the old loud and massive bathroom fans to new small sleek and quiet ones, removed an old satellite dish and associated cables, replaced a socket for a double for our broadband connections, replaced the old fashioned outdoor PIR sensor and light for a new better looking one and reinstalled a ceiling fan for the bedroom which needless to say in this heat was a god send. They have now left out bathroom with a new light switch on the wall instead of the mouldy pull cord which was there before, ran new cables ready for an illuminated mirror, heated towel rail and remove old charger socket. This has help us be ready for our plumbers next month without needing to worry about arranging everyone and will be coming back to install new bathroom down lights, connect the radiator to the existing timer and fan. Thanks again for your prompt service, friendly and tidy work always.
