Tectonic have carried out several jobs since we purchased our first home Eastbourne from small jobs like swapping light fittings and changing power sockets to new ones with USB sockets to bigger works like upgrading our old fuse board so it was compliant, a new security alarm to help protect our house, new bathroom lighting, ceiling fans, upgrading old light pendants to downlights, upgrading our old chip light switches the list is endless.

Tectonic installed an EV charger and upgraded some electrical circuits to add some future-proofing. From the initial survey to the completed works, the team (Nigel and James) were professional, friendly, courteous and punctual. They cleared up everything after them, leaving no mess.
Unlike some larger national companies who quoted for the job, they carried out a thorough survey and were able to fit the EV charger where I wanted it to be fitted rather than limit the cable run to 10M.
If you need an electrical job doing well, I'd thoroughly recommend engaging Tectonic.

Over the last few years these guys have replaced our old fuse board with an RCD, installed various new plugs and lights, CCTV, a home network, a TV distribution system, multiple smoke/CO2 alarms and a car charger.
As engineers they just seem to know everything and the quality of their work is impeccable.
As workmen they are friendly, tidy and punctual. And they don’t come with a transistor radio.

We recently asked the team to install solar panels on our bungalow. We have had a lot of work done by Nigel and the team and have always had a great job done but this time they went above and beyond. From guiding us through options, installing and the handover including loading apps to your phone, they have been fantastic.
The system we have has 13 panels, battery storage and the ability to feed back to the grid. With a very clever set up it allows us to use our own generated electricity instead of drawing from the grid and any excess is then sent which is financially fantastic.
I constantly look at the app on my phone and laugh when the sun is shining thinking we should have done it years ago.

When I was updating my TV stand first of all I disconnected all the cables, I thought it would be a case of plugging them all back in... Sadly my Sky box had other ideas. I had previously had this happen and after a week of trying to fix it I finally got signal again. This time around I really did not want to wait so I called Nigel within a few minutes on the phone he had talked me through the possible errors and within an hour i was all hooked up and ready to go again! I think it has an even better connection now due to attaching the cables correctly!
