You cant go wrong with a visit to the harbour. There are many eating places to cater for lunch or dinner. Try Di Lieto's Coffee Lounge for breakfast, morning coffee or lunch and maybe the Harbour grill. The views are lovely and you can let your imagination go as you look at the boats and yachts that are moored. You might be able to watch the bridge go up or wave to the day trippers as they pass. Walk around the harbour path and spot some fish or an eel or two. A pleasant interlude in the day.

Lovely to visit (especially on good weather days) for a meal, for a drink, for a coffee or simply to watch the world go by!

I regularly come down to the Sovereign harbour for walks. I like to view the boats and people-watch. It is a working harbour and interesting sights can be found, for example, the crane moving boats to the chandler's yard. Of course there are many restaurants and may be some of them are over-priced but you don't have to use them.

There are so many things on offer here. Free parking, free views of boats, lock gates, and harbour . Great place for children and dogs.
Good disabled access.
Choice of eating places, both indoor and outside. Patio heaters are used when weather is cooler.
Great for people watching,

Recently bought chips at Harbour Grill, I bought large portion of chips they came in
A small burger box. Not very nice and what a rip off. Will not go back to Harbour
Grill. Also miserable unfriendly man serving.

The harbour has several restaurants to choose from and some nice little shop's. There is plenty of outside seating at most of the restaurants right at the waters edge. Not much of a walk and you can be at the cinema and the bigger shop's located at the Crumbless. The harbour is well worth a visit.

Lovely Marina, on a hot day it's as good as sitting abroad in the sun with a drink. Great choice of restaurants and the children still enjoy crabbing while we sit and relax

We walked here from The Langham Hotel, some 5 - 6 miles there and back. Lots of boats and boating activity. And a good range of restaurants offering anything from a drink, coffee & danish to full meals of several different cuisines.

It's a harbour for small and medium sized boats that can be walked around. On a nice day, it's a lovely walk. In addition there are a dozen or so eating establishments to cater for every taste, lovely to eat at the harbour's edge on a lovely sunny day

Visited with my husband and two kids late Tuesday afternoon. Firstly we got a bit lost getting there (sat nav is to blame but also the signs, follow signs to harbour village) when we arrived it was very quiet (4.30pm) and lacked atmosphere. It's nice to see the boats but it's not very interesting. Just a few restaurants and an Asda is nearby too. Not sure if it's because we went too early for dinner so it was quiet but it was a bit boring and not as "posh" as the website makes out. Free parking though so nothing to lose by going to have a look.

We walked to the marina from the Wish tower end, following the well sign posted coastal path. However, when the path came to an end the signposts to the marina also stopped! We walked through a housing estate, and a large car park before eventually finding the marina! If fact it took so long we didn't have much time to spend there. Surely someone from Eastbourne tourism, or council should remedy this?
