Chanced upon Skylark on our way to the Seven Sisters Cliffs and their eggs benedict is probably the BEST egg benedict that I have tried on earth. Runny yolks, with a potato patty below, the combination was divine. My friends also really enjoyed their food (Full english breakfast + Salmon & Avo egg benedict) and we had a lovely time. Highly reccomend this cafe to anyone in search of a brunch place and wants to satisfy their egg benedict cravings 🥚🍳

I took my brother, who was visiting Eastbourne, to Skylark today for brunch after our morning walk—and it was such a great choice. The service was friendly, welcoming, and really accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about what they serve. It’s a lovely spot with a relaxed atmosphere, and it made our morning feel like a real treat. Would definitely recommend and will be going back again!

We went here for a roast dinner after hearing through the grapevine that they were fab and definitely didn’t disappoint! The portion was especially fair and everything was very tasty. Will be back again!

Today was my first time at Skylark and it will not be the last! I had a wonderful brunch with friends sitting out in their beautiful sunny courtyard. The staff were so attentive, and the food was delicious – I had the Turkish eggs, which were perfectly done and beautifully presented. A lovely spot for a relaxed catch-up!

Visited Skylark for the first time today and was so impressed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. They are very accommodating and were happy to swap out items upon request. My daughter is vegetarian and we had to double check the sausages were meat free because they were so authentic. I can highly recommend the place and will be going back very soon.

As always an excellent meal with lovely friendly service. They have a small seasonal menu for dinner. The presentation and flavour of the food is really good, they stock local wines and their house wine is very pleasant. It's our favourite in our area

Having eaten at Skylark a few times previously (and it always being great!) I emailed them about having our wedding reception there. Well I’m so glad I did. Erina and her team were amazing. The food was exceptional (literally every single guest told me on the day or messaged me after, saying how great the food and staff were.)<br>I had a vegan guest who said the whole meal was delicious and my 6 year old niece loved her specially made fancy chicken nuggets. Erina even boxed up some leftovers for us to take home for the dog!!! The whole afternoon was perfect and we now have a great place to go for date nights as Skylark will always be special to us.<br><br>(Annoyingly I don’t really have any photos of the food from our wedding day, I’m hoping when our official ones come there might be a couple that I can add!!)

We love this place and often come here with friends for breakfast, but came for Friday's lunchtime Fish and Fizz, which was delicious. We sat in their wonderful courtyard garden and it was lovely. The team are friendly and helpful and even brought a water bowl for our dog. We would highly recommend Skylark- it's just lovely.

Turned up as a group of 14, they pulled several tables together, everyone ordered different things from the menu, it all came out perfectly presented, taste awesome can't praise the staff enough 1st class .<br>And pet friendly

Absolutely love this place and couldn’t wait to go back to have the oaty desert again but I was so disappointed this time as my desert was cold and not the same as when I had it on Mother’s Day. It was such ashame and I couldn’t say anything as I had to go as in my lunch break. It was odd as my friends came out first a was piping hot then we waited longer a when ours came both of ours were cold so had they been waiting to come or left there ?

I've been visiting my fam in Eastbourne for 40 years, just had one of my *favourite* **ever** breakfasts here: Turkish Eggs: garlic & herb Greek yoghurt, saute greens, harissa oil, soft poached free range eggs, with<br>toasted rosemary foccacia, crispy onions, pomegranate seeds. Combination was exquisite.
