We visited with our toddler to see pat a cake baby which was a great show. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Amazing venue. Good sound and facilities. A bit short on leg room, but I'm tall. Places like this need our support, great asset to Eastbourne

Fantastic show. The host, Grant Martins, is very funny and keeps the show flowing brilliantly. There are plenty of well know songs, comedy and fabulous dancing with fantastic costumes. The Play That Went Wrong sketch is hilarious. Definitely with seeing 😀

The Royal Hippodrome is a delightful theatre with a wonderful history. Much of the original architecture has been restored and there is always a great assortment of entertainment throughout the year. They have a dedicated website and because productions are varied there is something for everyone, from children's shows to pop concerts, musicals, comedy one nighters and Christmas shows. If you are visiting Eastbourne make sure you check out The Royal Hippodrome.

An excellent rendition of this very silly story.
The players seemed to find it as enjoyable as the audience.

I have seen a few local shows here! It is a pretty little theatre in a not so ideal location.. but done nice little shoes are put on & an enthusiastic " friends " society that try to keep the theatre boyant . Would be sad to see it close after do many years if it did have to , it's a part of the charm of Eastbourne

Wonderful show, very attentive staff. Theatre needs an upgrade, but plenty of leg room, programmes really cheap, as were the ice creams.

I've been to a few shows here recently and it's a lovely venue although looking a little tired. Lovely bar, clean facilities and nothing is over priced.

I thought the lay out of theatre considering the age was very good 1 of the people with me has mobility issues but was able to get in and out without to much struggle or stairs which was great and the price of tickets and drinks was amassing good value

staff were friendly and helpful. The show was an amateur production, but of such a good enough quality that we only knew for sure by checking the website later. The theatre is old, but clearly loved. It was and enjoyable evening. My sense was that the cast and audience were equally having fun.

Good show. The compare especially worked his socks off and some of the acts had us laughing out loud. The kids were cute and the singing was a higher standard than you would expect from a local show. The theatre was small enough to feel intimate and run by cheerful volunteers.
