It was very funny 😂 and there was a good amount of work for the kids👱🏼‍♀️👦🏽 And the play that went wrong went very wrong and funny. The jokes weren’t short they were long and detailed. Overall a very good show!

After a slightly slow start it was fantastic. Oliver, Fagin and Nancy were outstanding. Took my 5 year old son and both nannies for their Birthdays. All very happy. Only negative would b it was cold in the theatre, kept our coats on.

Took my family to see the production of Oliver as it was always one of my sons favourite musicals and my granddaughter (aged 5 and her first theatre visit) loved it.

It was wonderful to visit this quaint theatre, it really did transport you back to theatres golden era. Would definitely revisit.

Our first visit to this theatre....much better than I had expected. A lovely Victorian theatre ( the oldest in Eastbourne): plenty of leg-room between comfortable seats. Although showing signs of age ( whilst awaiting sufficient funds to renovate), the theatre is clean and well run. The toilets are clean, as is the bar. The volunteer staff are eager to please. There is no car park.

The show was great, drinks were cheap, good atmosphere, seats a bit creaky could do with a bit of a refurb. Overall good experience

Saw Return of Neverland last week amazing show and brilliant cast especially Hook Tinker Bell and the lost boys but all were brilliant in their own unique way. Brillian story sets and songs.

Well done to the Travelling Company Make Believe Productions

Took the whole family to see Gary Delaney last weekend. Everything, and I mean everything, from the show to the theatre itself to the bar staf to the volunteers who ran the whole thing was top-notch.

Considering this place is the oldest in town, it still looks amazing. This is due to the hard work of the team that runs it. Yes, there are a few things still to do but if you're feeling generous and drop a quid or two into the bucket on the way out, you can help.

A low-stress, even family-style ambiance will leave you feeling well looked after, and you'll leave the place with happy memories and the feeling that you've contributed in some small way to the continued existence of this piece of Eastbourne history.

The sort of shows they put on with what has to ba limited budget is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Sign up to their mailing list and never miss a show again. Oh, and panto season is coming up soon (oh yes it is)!

We went to the theatre on the last night of the variety show . The show was brilliant from start to finish. The singing and dancing was very professional even the kids. The comedy had my sides aching with Grant Martins superb. If there are trapdoor productions dont miss them

Not knowing what to expect, had a fabulous time. The outside is a bit dated, but the seats were comfortable which is the main thing. Jason Manford had the audience rolling in the aisles. So a thoroughly good time had by all, still chuckling as some of his jokes/stores! Only a suggestion, but would have been nice to have a choice of wine, some fizz would have been nice!!
