Went to rosetto for my birthday and right from the start the front of house staff make you feel welcome, they knew the menu and were able to make recommendations.<br>The food was excellent, no one in my party could fault it with one saying “best steak i have ever had”, and the deserts are amazing.<br>As i said it was my birthday and once the staff found out they wished me a happy birthday, which they didn’t have to do but they did it anyway, the staff just seem to go above and beyond for their customers.<br>There is a reason that other restaurants have closed down and this one is still here.

This is a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant with an extensive menu and wine list. It certainly caters to all tastes. I had the Penne Polio ai funghi with a creamy sauce and my wife had the Penne arabiata, both excellent. We finished off sharing a trio of cleansing gelato. I highly recommended this restaurant.

We went to Rosetto restaurant on Wednesday for dinner and loved the restaurant, the Staff (especially Nancy) and all the other Waiting staff, the atmosphere and, more importantly, the food. It was delicious (Tiramisu was yummy 😋)<br>We liked it so much we booked to go back the next night and we will certainly visit again when we are in Eastbourne. I'd post photos but can't see how to do it.

Lovely little Italian in the heart of Eastbourne freindly staff and food was fab ,didn't book but managed to get a table for 3. Will be returning in December before out trip to The Congress .

I am posting this review because I emailed the restaurant about this matter but have had no reply, so the poor service continues!<br>On Saturday 10 August I booked a table for 3 people for 6pm, we were a few minutes late arriving due to parking but not by more than 5 minutes.<br><br>Two of my party ordered from the pre theatre menu and had 2 courses which you advertise as £16.95. The other person ordered from the specials. Our starters were served quickly but we then waited a long time for the mains. Upon asking about our main course at 7pm we were told it would be 5 minutes, in fact it arrived at 7:15 piping hot, too hot to eat. This meant that we were unable to eat our food and had to ask for it to be put into containers to take away. We explained that the theatre show started at 7:30 and your waitress said not to worry, it would probably start at 7:45, she was totally wrong, it started at 7:30 on the dot so just as well we didn't take her advice!<br><br>I have now realised that you also overcharged us, the bill states 2 course pre theatre £19.95 when in fact your menu states 2 courses are £16.95!<br><br>I am so disappointed in your service, especially because my husband and I had visited just a month ago and had a wonderful meal, served quickly and all delicious.<br><br>To have recommended to my friends that your restaurant was great and then experience such poor service and then be overcharged is embarrassing to say the least.

Haben spontan einen Platz zu viert bekommen, weil wir ein bisschen früher essen wollen. Sonst zumindest in der Hauptsaison unbedingt reservieren. Super leckeres Essen von den Vor- über die Hauptspeisen bis zu den Desserts. Hier gibt es mehr als Pizza und Pasta. Aber auch die sind super. Nicht ganz billig, aber für uns hat es sich gelohnt.
