If I could give a 3.5 I would; 3 is slightly harsh, but basically this place wasn't 'very good' so I couldn't give it a 4. Plus points are reasonably priced food, and an extensive menu of decent but slightly old fashioned cooking. Main negative was staff that were so inattentive not one of our party of 7 were asked if we wanted another drink. Overall, average is fair.

We went to Eastbourne only to look at a bike shop. We arrived around lunchtime and asked the guy in the bike shop where was a good place for a reasonably simple and well priced meal. He sent us to Pomodoro e Mozzarella. It was bustling and busy with couples and families mostly. All the staff were really welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely set price 3 course meal. It was both delicious and great value. We don't know Eastbourne at all and there are probably lots of lovely eateries, but we would definitely return to this family run restaurant.

We eat here 3 times a week.Why ?Excellent set menu..wonderful keen service..good RELIABLE food.Also the restaurant is always busy and buzzing.It has a great atmosphere.Try the Tagliatelle Vittorio...egg pasta chilli broccoli and King prawns....superb.

We arrived unannounced, seated immediatley and had a fine choice of italian food and wine. We were served quickly despite the place being very busy , the food was reasonabaly priced for a tourist area and as we had been given a Eastbourne visitors card at the b&b a further discount was available on the meals. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, could not fault the food or service, just one smile would have been nice from the very busy waiters/ waiteresses - saying that we would visit again.

As exhibitors at a Conference in Eastbourne, we asked the Centre manager at the Devonshire Park if she could recommend somewhere to eat.
She recommended this place and gave us a 10% discount flyer.
We went on a Friday night after 8.30 and the place was very busy - which is always a good sign. We were seated quickly. Drinks were quick in coming as were the starters.
The main courses were DIVINE! Piping hot, flavoursome. Just perfect.
Desserts were fabulous too. Gelato was lovely as was the tiramisu
Staff were efficient and attentive.
Would I recommend if you were in Eastbourne? Yes!

Went on a weekend with the family was nice had to sit down stairs would have preferred up stairs but soon forgot about the seating once starters came out they were very good and so was the mains all in all nice time.

Nice bright/open restaurant with a really good choice on the menu including some deals. Good selection of wines. Service generally good although it did sometimes seem a bit rushed, one of the young waitresses was a bit surly. Food good, cappuccino awful

The pizza is that real italian style, wood oven style topped with plentiful cheese, tomato and what ever else you desire!

Pasta tagliatelli and pizzas were excellent. Resto itself is rather big and noisy. Pizzas took a bit long between been baked and delivered at the table. Therefore pizzas were getting cold (due to chatty personnel). But hey great price/value.

Party of 28 of us from all over the UK met up here while staying for the weekend. Food so fresh and tasty. Service spot on even with such a large table. Have been before too just had to write a review to say how much we all enjoyed our visit and will definitely will be back thank you xx

This restaurant was extremely happy to accommodate the both of us even though we had no booking plus it was a Saturday night and they were very busy. Friendly staff great atmosphere and excellent food, definitely recommend anyone going to east Bourne this is the place to eat!!

We are fairly regular visitors to this friendly restaurant which constantly provides good Italian food in pleasant and comfortable surroundings with attentive but not overburden some staff.

What a great restaurant! The portion sizes were pretty big and the service was quick Even though the place was pretty full at 6pm on a Sunday.
The menu was pretty much the standard Italian food you get anywhere however the presentation was great and so was the taste. I opted for the two courses for £10:80 which was a good deal, portion sizes weren't compromised at all. The kids menu included a wide selection of drinks and the other half's calzone was huge.Will definitely be back next time we're in Eastbourne.

The only dish I like in this place is the melanzane, I can't get enough of this😀. We had seabass with crashed potatoes and can't believe it, was just boiled crashed new potatoes and half fillet seabass on top, nothing else!! No sauce or flavour and the size was too small, it's like a starter!! We were still hungry so we ordered 2main courses each!! The staff are friendly and some are quite funny 😁
