Have now eaten here three times recently and have never been disappointed. The two course menu for just £10.40 is fantastic value for money and the spaghetti carbonara was one of the best I have eaten outside of Italy! Will definitely be going back for more!

One of our favourites when in Eastbourne. All freshly cooked with an integral kitchen to see your food being prepared. Staff always friendly with excellent service. Mid week budget menu is excellent value for money.

I went with my friend for a nice dinner as the menu looked really nice online. Some of the options available online were not on the real menu. We were seated quickly and given menus, but 20 seconds after sitting down a different waiter came over and asked us if we were ready to order. We obviously werent as we had only literally just sat down, and after that, within the next 5 minutes another 4 waiters came over and asked the same question before we were actually ready. Food came quickly but whilst we were eating the same sort of thing kept happening as we kept being interrupted by waiters checking on us. The staff should communicate between each other to know when someone has done a check back on a table so as to not bother the customers while they're eating and trying to talk. Also the food was okay - nothing special - I make better bolognese myself - the meat didnt really taste like it was real meat but the garlic bread was good. As soon as our food plates were taken away a woman who I assumed was the manager swooped in and threw the bill on our table without anyone asking if we wanted anymore food or the bill at all. We then said we actually wanted dessert which we ordered after that. Desert was really nice, the icing on the chocolate cake was delicious but quite a small portion. Once those plates were taken away it was just past 9pm and most of the restaurant was empty by then with only 2 other tables. We sat for 40 minutes then whilst numerous waiters just walked passed us until we could finally ask for the bill - whilst some staff were just standing around at the front. It was a weird experience - not sure if I will go again.

Restaurant recommended to us by Martyn Knight the resident pantomime dame at the Devonshire theatre. We were not disappointed, everything was delicious & excellent value for money. The presentation of the food was first class. I have attached a photo of my prawn cocktail starter. You don't normally get sea bass on the early doors menu, you do at this restaurant. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They knew we were booked to go to pantomime so our meal was cooked on time & we even had time for desert & coffee. Next time I'm in Eastbourne I will definitely be returning.

Went here with a large group of friends having pre booked. Tables were laid out in a large U shape and at one end of the restaurant hopefully not disturbing other diners. Set menu is good value for money although you have to order vegetables as a side. Waiters attentive and friendly. Always a popular venue in Eastbourne

I visited this restaurant with 3 friends the other night. The menu was varied and well thought out. The prices were average for this kind of meal. It was busy, with numerous larger parties being catered for, but the service was not affected by this. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were efficient without being intrusive.

A lovely meal with my mother and husband, a reason to celebrate with good food , service and reasonable prices, what could you not like at this family run restaurant. Would certainly not hesitate to visit again soon

I have only been here once and I would not go again considering other options. The service was very hit and miss but more importantly the food was not as good as I had been expecting after I was recommended by a local friend. The pasta was exceptionally salty.

Booked for 6 after finding on Trip Advisor and enjoyed a nice meal the night after a long New Years Eve party the previous night. Great value 3 course set menu with plenty of choice. All in our group liked their food and the service was good.

Walked in (without booking) on eve of New Years Eve. Busy with family & one or two group bookings, but able to get a good table for two.
Starters: bruschetta pomodoro e mozzarella & minestrone dell' ortolano (homemade fresh vegetable soup) were both tasty. Soup was lovely & hot!Mains: my girlfriend loved Salmone Alla Fiorentina (grilled salmon on a bed of spinach with a white wine & cream sauce), although my Pollo alla Siciliana (goujons of chicken breast cooked with garlic, tomatoes and aubergine) seemed plain by comparison.
5 stars given for: overall experience, girlfriends fantastic meal, friendly attentive staff, and food arrived quickly.A bottle of Insolia white wine @ £16.50 was a good choice for regular SB/PG drinkers.
