Food was good, came very quickly. Wine was a reasonable price, and staff were very knowledgeable about wine. In general, staff were very friendly. Would recommend the restaurant, if you go on a weekday or Sunday then they also have good deals on 2/3 courses.

First time visitor to Eastbourne. Was planning to go to Tapas Restaurant recommended to me, which was closed on Tuesday. Thankfully Pomedoro e Mozarella was a few doors away.
Excellent Restaurant, with a extensive menu, great ambiance and first class, friendly. staff, who are mainly Portuguese.
Would recommend this Restaurant to anyone visiting Eastbourne - seems like the locals are already wise to it

Popped in on the off chance. Busy but could get a table at 9.30pm. Service friendly and authentic. Excellent wood-oven pizza and good local beers on offer. Happy to recommend.

Place was very busy and quite loud. We went on Sunday evening and had the £12.80 three course special. Starter, main and dessert. It was excellent value and all tasted really good. No complaints! We would definitely go again.

Admittedly the restaurant was busy but there were enough staff so it was disappointing to get ordinary rather officious and certainly not welcoming service. The food was ok and not particularly flavoursome. We won't be going back.

Visited here with a party of eleven people for a meal to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday, our party ranged from 4 to 60, there was a really good choice of dishes on offer including a good selection of Gluten free food as my wife is coeliac.
We had a range of sirloin steaks to pasta, with the two little ones well catered for too, and the Tiramisu for dessert was something really special. The food was ordered and delivered to the table in a reasonably good time, the food was hot, very plentiful, and the vegetables were exactly as I wanted, al dente, the staff were friendly and very helpful.
I always say you can tell a good restaurant is shown by how busy it is, and this one was packed all evening, although there was never any attempt to try and rush us, we were there from 7.30pm to 10pm.Well done to you all, and thank you very much for helping to make my wife's evening so special

Went there just before Christmas.
Nice meal but nothing exceptional. (the same people own the restaurant next door which is more up market and far better)

I visit this restaurant regularly as it was a place my father liked to eat.
I have found over time that you will always get a good meal with good service. When I take my young granddaughter there they go that extra mile to accommodate .
The only down side is that they can get very busy so it is wise to book.

Took my mum out for an early birthday celebration, have visited the Pomodoro previously.
Was a lovely relaxed evening, the waiting staff were polite and service was timely however we was not rushed at all.We chose the 3 course set menu and certainly wasn't dissapointed at all, would highly recommend this restaurant for any celebration or meal out any night of the week.

We arrived at this restaurant early evening and it was already packed, a promising sign.
Luckily we got a table and in spite of the large number of diners, service was prompt and very attentive. The food was absolutely excellent, the wine delicious and all served with charm by expert waiters. I can find no fault with this splendid establishment. No wonder it is so busy.

What can I say. The biggest choice of gluten free I've seen, pasta, pizza and pud, even a gluten free beer.

Attentive staff, our food was super fast and absolutely delicious.

Love Italian, love Pomodoro.

No matter how many times I have been or what occasion was being celebrated, without fail the service has been phenomenal, the atmosphere most enjoyable and most importantly the food has been exceptional. Cannot recommend it enough to anyone!

Walked in around 7.30/45 on a Thursday evening without booking, and there were plenty of table choices for two. 3 course Set menu @ £12.80 each was excellent value, as garlic mushrooms/spaghetti bolognaise/creme caramel were all listed and we saved approx £5 each. Portions sizes are same as if individually ordered. (Waiter advised that it is only the sea bass that is actually down sized to suit set menu price.) We are both satisfied customers (at least 4 visits now), & will return :-)

Walked in on Thursday night around 8 ish, table for two no problem, we could choose. We went for set menu three courses bargain at £12.80 each plus £15 for bottle of wine. We had garlic mushrooms, spaghetti bolonese and creme caramel, now stuffed! good service. Only downside was my desert was tastier because cooked different part oven to boyfriend which his was less tasty. It was knocked off bill so all good. We visit Eastbourne a lot and eaten here often so will return.

We have eaten here before and were very impressed. This time my 96 years old Aunt said that it was the safest bet for me but she couldn't go out today. So takeaway! Absolutely brilliant for all 2 "normal" and one gluten free. All were excellent - my aunt was delighted with her Lasagne which ordinarily she doesn't get. The regular pizza was deemd great and the GLUTEN FREE PIZZA for me was the BEST ever. The topping was fresh and the base was something else - delightfully cripsy with just the right degree of softness.. Yum!

extended family visit, with wide age ranges in the resto party, same group 2 nights running....service is good, food is great for price, if not outright sophisticated. Widely varied clientele, perfectly good value wines...does what it should for the money and the customer demographic...If you are into everyday Italian food, you won't go wrong. Set menus brilliant value. Relaxed, and friendly rather than falsely cosmopolitan or pretentious. Will go back again if I have a disparate group to entertain in the future.

This was our second visit here. What a fabulous restaurant! We loved it even more than last time....
The amount of tables they seat is astounding, and the restaurant works like a well oiled machine serving delicious fresh food, great cocktails, good service all in an exhilarating atmosphere.
My husband had the mussels to start which were amazing, the best he has ever had. Tuna salad for main, also delicious. The lemon sorbet was the best I've tasted.
We can't wait to come back to Eastbourne for another taste of Italian heaven.
