We had the pleasure of trying Pomodoro Mozzarella Restaurant in Pisa, and the experience was fantastic. The service was amazing, particularly thanks to the lady who served us. She was incredibly attentive and made a great effort to communicate with us in English. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, but if you’re reading this review, thank you!<br><br>The pizza was delicious and worth the wait. This restaurant is a must-visit when you're in Pisa, Italy. Highly recommended!

We ordered vegetable lasagna and gnocchi with provolone cheese sauce. It was delicious. I had a tiramisu for dessert, it wasn't an authentic one. I thought that would be made with mascarpone cheese like an original Italian, but no.<br>But I totally recommend it. You can try a different dessert.

This was absolutely great Italien food experience, to the extend I was back the next evening and I am sure I will revisit next time I'm in Eastbourne. Despite it was a very busy evening and the staff found a table for me despite I didn't book a table. The service was great, the staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, the portions were decent.

An amazing Italian restaurant very close to the beach / coastline in Eastbourne! This was the best carbonara I had in the UK 💯💯<br><br>The restaurant is very spacious. Yet at 6:30pm the entire restaurant was full and by the time we left around 7:30pm, there was a long queue waiting outside. Highly recommend book in advance (calling at a quiet hour; they don’t do online booking unfortunately) or come in early like around 5pm on a busy Saturday evening.<br><br>The food is amazing! They had two good value set menus, but we went for ordering individually, as the cheaper set menu is not available for Friday and Saturday dinners.<br><br>For me, the highlights are the deep fried white baits, carbonara and tiramisu. White baits are very fresh, carbonara and tiramisu are the best I had over years and. The portions are generous.<br><br>The staff are very friendly and easy to get attention.<br><br>Love this restaurant and will come back again next time we visit Eastbourne 🙌🙌

I cannot believe the few negative comments re this restaurant. We have been coming here for many many years and have never found the waiting staff unfriendly - in fact, quite the reverse, Luca, the owner is the kindest, most generous host one could wish to meet. Staff are long serving and treat customers like family.<br>Over the years we have introduced tens of people to Pomodoro and, they, like us, are now regular ms here.<br>The food is wonderful and always of the same excellent standard whether one orders from the set menus or a la carte.<br>I would defy anyone to find such meals at these prices anywhere else in Eastbourne.

We went again today afternoon, much to our surprise: the service is bad!<br><br>My seat short of knife and spoon, the waiter simply neglected it, even when I asked, he gave me a spoon only.<br><br>Our food were served much slower than neighbour table who obviously speak same language (non English) as the waiters!<br><br>Then after main dishes finished no one asked when can serve the dessert, it only came after we asked twice.<br><br>Then come for the bill, no one came to our table after calling the bill at all until I walked to the counter, the waiter who served us saw me and then told the cashier which table I was.<br><br>Obviously the waiter only be good to customers they know but not else, terrible terrible service!<br><br>Food is ok to be fair, but service , well if you are white and speak the language then you will be treated as king, else I suggest you think twice.

The quality of the food is very good and reasonably priced. But the only thing that spoils it for me. Is the ATTITUDE of the waiters. They are very regimental and standoffish. In fact very unfriendly and they never smile. Also one of the waiters smelled of cigarette tobacco. Which was horrible. So my friend has decided to give POMMODORO a huge wide birth.

The set meal was absolutely phenomenal in taste. I was treated to a lovely meal, and it was our first time coming here. The food was very reasonably priced, and the staff were lovely and attentive even though it was extremely busy. I'm sure we will go back when we are in the area.
