Lovely place with great food and hospitality. Central to the restaurant is a charcoal grill with a beautiful hammered copper hood/chimney attended to by the chef. There is also a traditional oven. It's cozy and fairly small.<br><br>Each time I've been they bring out a big puffed up bread fresh from the oven with a small platter of olives, cheese and herb butter on the house.<br><br>I'd recommend the mezze special, you get a bit of everything.

Outstanding meal and wonderful atmosphere at The Meze last night. We went there to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday and the staff went out of their way to look after us, especially our disabled birthday boy. Thank you for making our evening a memorable one.

I came here two times after visiting the Seven Sisters Cliffs. The food is delicious, staff are so friendly, helpful, and professional. You feel like you’re in a traditional restaurant in a small Turkish village with premium quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering it. Specifically grills lovers.

Phenomenal food and service! Absolutely loved the music they played for the additional atmosphere. The owner is such a friendly individual and makes the entire restaurant all the more enjoyable. Never had Turkish food before, so this was an amazing first experience!<br><br>Makes me wish we had a place like this back in the United States.
