Great food, 'mushroom' bread and dips free to start. Try the mixed starter to share, continuous bread!
Mains are fab, chicken and lamb kebabs the best. Toilets downstairs, 2 steps into the restaurant so not accessible at all.
Staff great, chatty and friendly. Drinks a bit steep. £5 for a glass of wine, £2 for a soft drink- not even a half.

I am relocating to Eastbourne, I visited this restaurant twice, each time I give it 10/10.
Simple decoration but give you the feel that this is a lovely place, Staff are super friendly and they love to serve their customers, very cooperative.
Food is excellent, I doubt you find better in the whole region, everything is freshly prepared under your eyes . Ayràn is the best low salted one , lahmachiûn is fantastic super fresh , meat cubes on charcoal is super and beautifully presented . It is mandatory to eat there while you r on Eastbourne.

Visiting Eastborne I didn't want to go to another chain restaurant and saw some good reviews posted! Excellent service from all of the staff at Meze. Pleased to have complimentary bread and olives too! Delicious food and reasonably priced beer! Definitely a gem down a slightly questionable street...

Great food at a reasonable cost, we had the maze offer of £25 between the two of us and added a couple of small dishes, plenty of food especially as they give you free bread.

Slightly off the road compared to many other restaurants but definitely well worth a couple of minutes walk around the corner. We shared a mixed meze starter, had a generous main each and shared a dessert plus a coffee and Turkish coffee and liqueur. Seriously great freshly cooked flavoursome food that could not be faulted at reasonable prices with great service. Hard to beat - treat yourself to a visit if you are in Eastbourne!

This place is a real authentic Turkish restaurant and the food was great.
Was seated straight away and while we were decided what to eat we were giving warm bread with dips and this Turkish toast which went down a treat.
My boyfriend and I ordered a sharer starter and a sharer mains.The starter was lovely, it was a cold sharer which was great but I would of liked the cold and the hot as it was for 2 people so maybe specify if thats what you fancy. The cold on its own isnt that big, all it is is different dips with bread, still lovely though.
For our mains we have chops, chicken, lamb, kofty and it was all cooked to perfection. Came with a lovely salad too. The only thing I would point out is that they dont give you much rice. In other turkish restaurants they normally fill the plate up with 2 different types of rice.
But other than that I was super happy with the meal and service.
Would defintely go back.

We enjoyed our second visit here and were equally impressed. The staff were attentive, accommodating and served a delicious meal. This is one of the best Turkish meals we have ever had. Would highly recommend!

What a great place,went here after a recommendation from local tesco,and I had a brilliant time,food was really tasty and fresh,all the dishes cooked in front of me so next time il be back with my family.

Went with family for dinner first thing was the warm welcome from the manager got as good table as we had buggy and we need it more space we had meze to share and was yummy freshly cooked in front off you and very reasonable highly recommend

A very good Turkish restaurant with friendly staff and delicious, well presented food. Given the quality of the food and the size of the plates, it is also very good value. Most of the dishes would be familiar to anyone who likes Turkish food although there were one or two specialties too

I cannot rate this turkish restaurant highly enough. We go regularly and the standard is always high, the food always rastes delicious and i have tried several dishes. The staff are friendly but best of alk is the chef who sits at the grill in the restaurant and you can see your food cooking. I recommend the fish dishes.

Amazing food and lovely atmosphere. The owners were really helpful and assisted us with ordering. We had a mixed meze, shrimp and halloumi to start and mixed grills for main courses. They were very large portions and it tasted amazing. The food is cooked in an open kitchen so you can see everything.
Definitely recommend and have already booked to go again!

Picked this restaurant based on reviews on Tripadvisor. We were glad we did! A short walk away from main roads, but what a great find: good quality food, reasonably prized. And the staff were very friendly. Would definitely go again.
