Possibly best Turkish we have ever eaten. Pide bread and dill butter especially delicious. Excellent aubergine dishes. Super friendly staff. And all cooked in front of us. Hope to be back!

This restaurant was recommended to me by a lady I met in a shop earlier in the day. It's tucked away in a quiet road close to the beach and we arrived just at the right time as we got the last unreserved table. The food was pretty good, tho not amazing, and the service was much the same. I would definitely give it another chance.

A very nice compact family restaurant, good food. Authentic Turkish meals served with lots of love . Very good helpings , you would need to be very hungry to do justice to their meals as an.individual. Best way to enjoy this place is to go.as a group or a family for a full dinner. The various selection of bites and.flavours are quite enticing. Very much.worth a try. Highly recommended.

Amazing restuarant. All home cooked and you can watch the man in action cooking your meal over the hot coals. They didn't do a kids menu we had 2 kids aged 7 and 1.5 years. The owner said leave it to me and suggested we order a special grill with basically all the meats and a meal for one. We did and was perfect. We had starters of shrimp, breads, dips, olives and cheese as sides. We had the perfect amount of food where we left none but wasn't in need of anymore and all come in at just under £60 including drinks. The service was friendly and very efficient. Had a great experience here

They are our neighbours and every other week when me and the hubby wants a lazy evening we get a takeaway from Meze and it is amazing, the service is always outstanding !!!

We took my parents there today for lunch and they loved it.

We have been here quite a few times and this is still our best option of Turkish food so far. It is the cosy and warm feeling every time we have dinner in the restaurant. The owner who served us is very gentle and polite. Grilled lamp chops is my favourite so far and kiounefe - oh my god - is the best dessert. The portion of main is big so I normally order straight to main and followed by dessert. Will be back here soon.

Very good food and very nice atmosphere. Cooking is open and wonderfully fresh and authentic. Service is very attentive and unobtrusive and the prices are more than adequate for the quality. A visit is always worthwhile!!

We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in this restaurant. We were given complimentary flat-bread with cheese and olives almost as soon as we sat down. There is a really nice family friendly atmosphere. Meals are prepared within the restaurant where customers can watch them being cooked and plated up. Both of our meals of lamb came with red onion salad, bulgar wheat and yoghurt. Together with 2 deserts and a bottle of good Turkish wine, the bill was a little over £50.

We have been to Eastbourne many times but only just discovered this little gem.
Wonderful. The place has a lovely atmosphere and nice and clean. The food was delicious and the portions are generous too. The lamb chops were so tasty and the bulgar wheat is marvellous. The owner took our orders and is a total gentleman. Just lovely all round.
Shall definitely be returning.

Recommended in B&B information (The Langtons) for great Turkish food.
Hadn't booked but got a table Saturday evening.Excellent service.
Delicious food cooked fresh.Received bread, olives, cheese and garlic/herb butter before ordering. Also an amuse bouche of a mini lamb mince pizza - wonderfully delicious.
We had several meze dishes - comes with a different bread. It was all beautifully presented. The chef is seated at the charcoal grill in the restaurant so you can see your food being cooked. Tables near it can get very warm so don't overdress.
I had Turkish white wine which was smooth and delicious. We both had baklava for desert and I had a rich Turkish coffee which complemented the baklava.
A wonderful meal - delicious.
We will go back next time we're in the area.

So the other half and I have been talking about coming here for a while and finally tonight we did it. Came along with a very good friend and had the best of times
The service is at your own pace (good job as we were catching up over 20+ years and so a lot of chatting was happening!!)
The maitre d / owner is very very friendly and accommodating. And was happy to go at our pace (NB this was mid week just to be clear!)
Food is freshly cooked in front of you at the grill and is absolutely incredible
I would recommend a selection of starters as opposed to an actual 3 course meal. Gives better opportunity to try more flavours - which are all incredible! The star prize for starters goes to aubergine with onion starter
Also do not miss the chance to try the Turkish wines! Cheap and very clean and fresh tasting - especially the white

Honestly the nicest man runs this resturant. On arrival they gave us a huge hot flat bread, olives, feta, garlic butter all on the house. We then ordered humous and our mains. The veggie Musaka was so good! My boyfriend ordered a lamb dish.
The owner then came round and gave everyone mini lamb turk pizzas (also for free) we then shared a beautiful walnut and sweet fig dessert.
Relaxing atmosphere, lovely service, not rushed in any way. Friendly staff!! And of course the food was perfect.
I never tip...but today we tipped!!!

You will receive a warm welcome at this great family run restaurant. It is popular locally and there are only about a dozen tables so book ahead. All of the food is prepared on an open grill in front of the diners, so everyone has a chefs table! You can see fresh ingredients being expertly prepared, providing a wide array of authentic Turkish dishes. Excellent service, excellent food, well worth a try.

My first experience of authenic Turkish cuisine, as I'm not sure the local kebab shop counts! Got off to a good start with the tasty pide bread and a decent selection of dips. I went the Antep Ezme starter which was a cold but spicy dip with a nice kick to it. Then opted for the Karisik kebab for mains, which was basically a mixed grill with generous servings of chicken, lamb and adama, and various accompaniments including a tasty yoghurt. I went in with a big appetite and actually struggled to finish it thanks to the generous portions, but I made sure I did as I didnt want to leave a crumb of that delicious food! Staff were very friendly and it was interesting to see the meals being prepared from our seat in the restaurant. Would definitely go back for more!
