My first experience of authenic Turkish cuisine, as I'm not sure the local kebab shop counts! Got off to a good start with the tasty pide bread and a decent selection of dips. I went the Antep Ezme starter which was a cold but spicy dip with a nice kick to it. Then opted for the Karisik kebab for mains, which was basically a mixed grill with generous servings of chicken, lamb and adama, and various accompaniments including a tasty yoghurt. I went in with a big appetite and actually struggled to finish it thanks to the generous portions, but I made sure I did as I didnt want to leave a crumb of that delicious food! Staff were very friendly and it was interesting to see the meals being prepared from our seat in the restaurant. Would definitely go back for more!

First time here. Heard many good things. Attentive staff coupled with complimentary flat breads and Turkish pizzas to start. We had the chilli shrimps and the lamb flatbreads. Followed by mixed grill kebab which was superb and spicy meatballs.
Love this place will be back for sure and the owner seemed pleased to welcome us and friendly.

Visited here for lunch with my husband, who is Turkish.
Everything was delicious. He said his Iskender kebab was one of the best he's ever had. The food was all freshly prepared, nothing ready made or pre-prepared.

From the moment I pre booked a table with the polite and helpfully guy every thing was great. We arrived to pre dinner nibbles tasty. On to drinks authentic Turkish Effes lager beer things just getting better. Very attentive guy takes order and the starter arrives, onto the main after a break which you need with these portions well this main course along with the whole experience could not be better. Not the cheapest but by far the best Turkish meal we have had. Congratulations to you guys at Meze.
