Booked a table at Massilia Bay as part of a family holiday in Pevensey Bay. Wednesday is half price pizza night and we all agreed the pizzas were amazing. Very authentic and tasted delicious. Lily was extremely attentive and we could not have asked for better service š

Ordered some takeaway pizzas from
Massilia Bay , just eat had just finished delivering, however I rang the restaurant and they said no problem and delivered the pizzas themselves! Wow they were delicious!
So we made a point of going back there for lunch , what a treat , we all had different meals from pasta , burgers , sea bass and meatballs and spaghetti, everything was all top quality and delicious, the atmosphere and staff , the ambiance was just beautiful.
The day before we left , a Sunday I fancied a roast dinner ! And it was amazing , roast beef cooked mediam rare and to perfection, they had an out door BBQ going on and my partner chose a burger that was absolutely banging , and he knows his burgers!!!
We were so blown away by the staff and food, so told our friends to join us for drinks on our last night away !

so welcome .
It was then time to leave , so we asked to buy some food to takeaway with us for our last meal ! The BBQ was closing and the Chef said he would sort a takeaway box for all of us ! Which he did , wow , steak , chicken , pork ribs , the works , amazing !
We were so grateful, I went to pay for this fantastic takeaway , and was told ,
No itās on the house , and enjoy !
Well life and kindness doesnāt get any better than that !
Itās a must go to Restaurant which serves quality food , along with quality staff and a great place to be .
Cannot recommend it enough !

Fantastic restaurant and a lovely area for a bar just to sit and have a drink . The outside is great in the sun. Food is first class and the staff are wonderful and attentive when required. Go and give it a try, you wonāt be disappointed.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Massilia Bay last night. The owner was so friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The food was clearly cooked fresh, we had the pizza and fish and chips and couldnāt fault it. The owner kindly gave us a limoncello on the house too. We will absolutely be returning again.

Just called in for lunch on a day trip. A really pleasant surprise! Although it was supposed to be a limited lunch menu it was certainly not limited in quality. Four of us ordered different dishes and each one was a real delight. You might think you are getting standard fayre, but great care was taken to boost the presentation, quality and originality of what was served. Fish and chips can be pretty standard, the usual pub version is a whale in greasy batter struggling to stay on you plate - but not this... delicately presented with minted peas and bespoke fries, it was a real joy.
Only 4 stars for atmosphere, but surprisingly we were the only people in there.

Finally I had a Sunday off so went with my family for a second time, and once again thoroughly enjoyed everything about our meal. Roast Gammon was my choice for Sunday lunch,as you can see, a multitude of veggies hidden under that gammon and we ordered a portion of both cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets to share between us 4 adults. ā¦it was delicious. The best roast dinner weāve eaten out. The only thing my mum was disappointed about was that she didnāt have room for a dessert, but fear not, she got it to take home.š

Really love this place. Itās our second time visiting and we plan on coming again. This time for Valentineās Day, the menu was set so we had to choose between things we wouldnāt normally order. Which was lovely trying new things, but this was a bit pricey compared to what we had planned.

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant on Saturday night! When we arrived, there was a pianist playing the piano and I was quite apprehensive that the children might be too noisy for what seemed a small, cosy and intimate setting. However, I was blown away with how great the staff were with the children, which put me at ease! We ordered 3 Pepperoni Pizzas from the kids menu, which came with a scoop of Icecream after, that the kids got to go up and choose themselves. The pizza was large and freshly made, the kids loved them and they were all full up. I ordered the seafood linguine! It was so good, filled with lots of musself, clams, calamari and prawns! My only criticism is that I prefer the sauce a bit thicker but apart from that it was perfect and yummy. My friend ordered the tapas as there was a deal on ordering 3 items off the tapas menu. Not sure if the tapas is a regular item on the menu? But that was delicious, especially the chicken wings. Overall, it was a brilliant night, never even knew it was there as its a bit off the road. Will definitely going back there, the next time I'm in the area! Sorry about the picture, I took it from the video I made with the kids.
