We went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother in law's 70th birthday having booked it from afar. The food was amazing and the service was tremendous! They could not have done anymore to make our evening very special and a memorable celebration.

Managed to get squeezed in here in a Friday night ( booking is a must because they're so busy, and I'm not surprised).
A lovely friendly welcome, excellent service throughout and the food was just amazing. Both of our fillet steaks were cooked exactly as we asked.
Will definitely be my go to restaurant when we relocate here in a few months time.

I've wanted to take my wife for a great meal for a while and we were told to try them out. The service was amazing. The restraunt was packed so we had to wait which wasn't an issue at all. We waited all of 5mins and were greeted with complimentary drinks for what they thought was an inconvenience to us. The food was amazing! The waiting staff were on the ball and never missed a beat. The presentation of each dish was beautiful . St one point we spotted the owner going to each table welcoming and checking everything was to a high standard. I will be returning and i highly recommend.

What a amazing restaurant. We came here for my Farther’s 60th Birthday it was delightful.
My fish was the best fish I had ever eaten, my mum had steak and she said it was the best she’s ever eaten. It’s such a beautiful place to eat. The staff were great. Ben looked after us tremendously, thank you so much, you will be seeing more of us!! Thank you for such a great experience.

Having been turned away from the nearby tapas restaurant on a Friday night as they "didn't serve after 9" (!) we pitched up here and despite being really busy they found us a table and proceeded to serve us a great meal with enthusiasm and humour.
Whilst the food we had (mixed fish special) was delicious the service was just outstanding and if you could award 6 stars I would. I've never seen so many serving staff buzzing around but there is clearly great organisation as we were seen to promptly by variety of people all of whom (especially the charming Barbara) were friendly and most importantly personable.
I have rarely enjoyed a meal as much and I would encourage anyone to visit this excellent restaurant.

Good food in a nice setting, wine list a little restricted and they could certainly do with bigger tables when seating 4 people as trying to find room for the food and drink was rather interesting.
Staff friendly.

We visited for the first time on a Saturday night the restaurant was very busy and as we didn't book thought we might not get in.
But the friendly face at the front door said have you booked ah. No problem we will have a look, and we were sat down immediately lovely
We'll the food and the service was excellent, the staff were so organized. A big thank you to Barbara our waitress who really knows her job what a lovely smile and humerus .Thoroughly recommend this place,we.live in London and wished it was there. We will return some day.
Many thanks for an enjoyable evening. PSA big mention must be to the toilet's I think they are the cleanest I've ever seen at a restaurant, which I think reflects on how well the whole place is operated.

This is a very popular place for my dad - he is Italian and it is local. So no better place to celebrate a milestone birthday. We were eating on a Sunday around 14:30. 8 of us sat in the rear on a long table. The restaurant was still very busy - testament to its popularity.
Between us we had traditonal italian starters minestrone, insalata caprese (buffalo Mozz with tomatoes and basil dressing), parma ham and melon. The mains were pastas (tortellin) and risottos. One of us had salmon which was very well cooked and seasoned. All the food was well presented and very tasty. There was no giant pepper grinder in sight!. I chose a wine from Trentino - an Italian style Sauvignon blanc. It was crisp, citrussy and excellent with the food. Here I must mention an incident which was handled very well by the restaurant - read on. 7 of us were drinking the wine. The waitress did not ask who was and proceeded to pour too much into 5 glasses. This meant I had to order another bottle (at £25). I was disappointed and discretely mentioned it to the manager. I give positive feedback and intended it as an opportunity for improvement. I expected nothing more. the manager made it clear we would not be charged for the second bottle. I protested - he insisted Positve customer service. Very good.
As it was a birthday celebration my wife made and brought a cake (300 miles). so the restaurant missed out on a round of desserts and still made an event of the cake with a little ceremony. Much appreciated. They did also provide a Limoncello frozen slush for each of us which was fantastic. I would have liked a whole bowl -see pic..During the busy time the restaurant handled our needs expertly and efficiently and demonstrated quality of service and thinking. This is rare to find and is much appreciated. I left an extra £20 tip.
These are lovely people and committed to their customers I strongly recommend a visit for the food, the busy ambience and the experience. Thank you for making my dad's day special.

My husband discovered this fabulous Italian restaurant. I don't mean this in a negative way but it was proper 'old fashioned' Italian food. I mean this in the most positive way imaginable. I remember restaurants like this from the 70's. Great selection of authentic dishes; attentive staff (without getting in the way) and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go again!

We had been to the theatre for a matinee performance but had to wait until 5.30pm to open. We love this restaurant. Prices are reasonable, for freshly prepared meals.
Hubbie had the calamari to start, the squid was tender and the tempura batter was light and crispy and plentiful.I had the penne with chicken, asparagus, tomato and wine. I couldn't really taste the wine but it was good. Hubbie had the saffron and lemon tagliatelle with king prawns. He was a little disappointed this time, as when we visited before he said it was one of the most delicious Italian meals he has eaten. On Wednesday evening, the dish would have benefited from more lemon in the sauce, however, still delicious.
Bread and olives are put on the table to start and we finished off with a limoncello mouth cleanser. Bottle of wine was around 17 pounds.

We had a lovely meal, keeping four eclectic tastes happy, from rapid carnivore, a little choosy and vegan! As the latter, I recommend the tricolore without cheese and melanzane with vegan cheese, delicious!!
Also popular were the lamb cutlets, king prawns and pasta dishes. A great restaurant, you can't go wrong!!

This was a great little Italian restaurant which we just found by accident when walking by, even though we hadn’t booked they managed to fit us in. The service was amazing and on the table they had olives and complimentary breads. I had the gnocchi which were devine and my husband had the veal in a creamy mushroom sauce - he could not fault it, he said it was one of the best dishes he had tasted anywhere. The staff were always on hand and really were very attentive and friendly, a credit to them all.
