So much to do, keep kids and adults alike happy all day. Food and drink reasonable priced but can take picnics too

Fantastic place for kids - loads of activities, but the price has increased considerably! Charging full price for anyone over 2 seems rather harsh. An expensive day out when you add in lunch, icecreams and extra cost activities!

Update!!! Have been coming here for years now and am always impressed with the changes each time we come. The recent wooden castle play area is like nothing else I’ve seen and equally amusing for children and adults to climb on and around.
The animals look well cared for and the new animal area was great to explore. I love the new Sherlock Holmes experience although it was quite scarey at times.
Also the most important thing is your staff are so friendly and well trained. They make you feel welcome and are full of smiles. The Costa coffee area is great too in froggys.

Absolutely brilliant family owned/run place. Ignore the stupid reviews that are claiming discrimination......they have jumped on a opportunistic bandwagon that's misformed and not the truth.

This is a fantastic park, great value and a wonderful day out for kids. The staff and management are incredible and do their best in sometimes very difficult and challenging situations.

Highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Me, my friend, my dad went to knock hatch. At first it seemed very expensive but when you go it’s worth it. The food was very good and I loved the soft play area. There were some very cute animals, and some wierd ones. Every ride I went on was, fun and adrenaline rushing. Unfortunately I did get a friction burn on one of the slides because I didn’t know you had to have a fully covered shirt. But that was all my fault. The slides I went on (all but red) were very fun, the games behind them were also fun. Although for some rides you do have to go to the shop to get a ticket, which will cost an extra 4 or 5 pound but it’s all worth it. The staff were very nice, friendly. I can’t wait to go there again with my friends, family and have an even better time every time I go!

Great family day out. Sadly the process to collect season passes was a tad poorly thought out as we had to pay for the day then get a refund when we left and collected our passes. Other than that was brilliant!

Fantastic day out with the 'little ones' and more than enough to keep the 'older ones' occupied. Really good VFM IMHO, we were there today with three grandchildren aged 5,7 & 9 for 6½hrs. Every one of them had a great day!

Excellent place for up to around early teens age . Lots to do. Make sure you pre-book online if you can. Opens at 10:00 . Arrive as close to 10:00 as possible during the school holidays as often by 10:30 - 11:00am the car park is full. Not sure what the "overflow" situation is like ? Cost is reasonable(by todays standards) for what you get.

Quite a fun day out for families with children under 12. My 10 year old loved it - my 13 year old twins were bored (but did love seeing the animals - especially the exotic species).

£90 for my family of 5 so not a cheap day out, but lots of animals to be looked after, young staff to be paid and no doubt loans to pay back for recent developments, so probably a fair price in this expensive world we live in.

Drinks and ice creams fairly priced.

Food looked pricey and unappetising and does not have great reviews so we packed loads of snacks and a packed lunch.

Toilets are clean.

Facilities (play areas are clean).

Staff are very friendly, which is refreshing these days.

Loads of parking.

Loads of picnic tables.

Well sign posted and easy to find by satnav.

My only moan is...

Appalling terms and conditions if you book online. £15 per person but terms and conditions state NO refunds if you cancel or amend your online booking before the day of arrival (an additional £3 per ticket for any amendments, which is excessive).

Online booking website is basic and clunky and the system was tricky to navigate. So confusing I made an error and selected the wrong date. A 'quick' call to Knockhatch and my family 'Adventure' cost me another £15 for my family of five (£90 in total)!

Call taker (Carolyn) also took utter delight in charging me the additional £15 (on top of the original £75) by warning me 'those were the conditions 'you agreed to' when I bought my ticket on line. Savage.

Finally, on the theme of savage refund policy I bought a ticket for my wife (£18) and she was unwell on the day of the visit due to chemotherapy for cancer. Would they refund her ticket? No. No way. I even bought a doctor's letter as proof. Heartless.

Won't be going back. All left a bit of a sour taste. What a shame and a missed opportunity for Knockhatch to show a little compassion.
