We booked a ski party here for our son's 10th birthday party with a load of his friends.
All though there was a lot if anxiety amongst the party goers that all had a fabulous time.
At the end of the hour the children were skiing down from a good distance, jumping and touching their toes whilst moving.
The food spread was great, and more than enough to go round.
If you want a children's party with a difference, then look no further.

We visited at a very busy time in the school holidays (party of six including a 8 yr old, 9 yr old and 18 yr old) and did have to queue for a considerable time to get in.
Although the park is relatively small there is loads to do; the kids loved the adventure playground, the jumping pillow (although there was a maximum no. of children and a minimum age, but these weren't adhered to so it was a bit overcrowded with little ones getting jostled by the older ones), we all enjoyed the boats and the animals, and the extras such as climbing wall and trampoline didn't break the bank.
We found the staff very helpful and pleasant; the only problems we encountered were that we queued for about 20 mins to buy the bag of stones for the goldmine after a sign telling us we could buy them at the food place, only to be told when we finally got to the front of the queue they didn't sell them. Also the toilets weren't particularly clean - at the end of the day the loos near the water place smelt horrible and they were a bit of a mess.
That said, we'd definitely visit Knockhatch again, and would definitely recommend it, we all had a great time.

Whatever you do DONT FORGET your annual pass......We have been annual members for many years and honestly love the facilities. It is a great, fun day out.
But on one occasion we simply forgot to pick up our annual passes :-( I didnt think this would be a problem as they have our photos, DOB, postcode etc pretty much everything needed to identify us. But NO! This isnt enough the rules say you must have your membership cards or pay £5 to replace it. WHY, because it is in their terms and conditions, it doesnt matter that its illogical, pointless and poor customer service.

A really lovely place to go, plenty to do and all nice and spread out so you don't feel cramped when busy. Soft play is a really good one as well. Birthday parties are also very reasonable.

Not expensive to go in and my daughter loved being able to feed the animals.

Amazing place mainly because it is so well priced, well maintained, not over run with people and plenty to do writhing the admission price. The things that are chargeable are minimal and much cheaper than elsewhere. You can easily spend a whole day there, take a picnic and enjoy.
We were a group of about 12 with children ages 1 -17. Yes it is geared for younger families but still a nice day out for older ones also.

We went with 4 young children from 3 to 11 plus I'm a pensioner and children's mum but can truly say we ALL ENJOYED the day. There is everything from animals, rides, giant sliders, crazy golf, rowing on lake ( this is harder than it looks!) but we all did, things to climb on, lots of picnic areas. Looking at the car parks we thought this is going to be so busy, but at NO time did we have to wait long or feel it was crowded. Would so recommend for lovely day out.

We hold annual passes, for this park, as it's lovely all year round.
Animals are well cared for and they are often improving the attractions.
Staff are very courteous and helpful.

Has a soft play, a shooting area (soft balls) laser quest, farm, play areas, rides, boating lake.4d mining ride. Large water wave slide ride and jumping pillows.

Prices are very reasonable inside for drinks and the souvineer shop.

My only comment would be they should allow a after school play price to bring friends to the park for an hour or two, as they would get more in on quite times as its too expensive. If not for that, if would have been a 5 star.

We came here on a lovely sunny day. When we reached the car park we were waved on but there was no one there after that to tell us where to go - yet cars arriving after us were being sent into spaces, which confused us. We reversed back and were told to go in a space, but thanks to bad parking by previous drivers we were all shunted down a bit, so we weren't all parked between the wooden spaces. Could the people sorting the parking make people park in the individual spaces not in as many as they want.

With it being a popular place there was a bit of a queue to enter - both on the members side and non members - as soon as they could they opened up other kiosks. The only problem with the entrance is that if you have never been here before you don't know what your children will or won't wan to go on, and you have to pay for extras as you enter. The extras are not overly expensive, and they do family and group entrance tickets. Being new we weren't to know you could purchase food for the animals, which we missed out on and we only saw where it came from on our way out through the shop. It would be nice to be asked when purchasing all the other extras.
There are a slection of farm animals as you enter and at regular times there are animal encounters in a barn and a tractor ride. Which are free.

There is miniture golf, a small chairplane ride, giant pillows, a waterslide, a dropslide, some amusement games. A big variety of things in one location.

My son went on the go karts, we had to wait quite a while to get on these as they only run so many at a time and then there were a few problems with a kart that had to be sorted before the ride could be continued. We obviously picked a reasonable time to go as not long after a massive queue grew behind us.
One bug bear was we were behind a family and then just as they were due on the kart and my son should have been nexted they asked if a girl who hadn't even been in the queue could go on with them and she was let through. We did point out that we had been waiting , as had others and that it was unfair. They offered to drag out another go kart so he could go on with them but we declined, as they were all egging each other to go as fast as possible, and as my son has ASD, we did not want him to panic on the course. I would just sugest that you reinforce to your staff the message that is seen when you enter the park, that there is no queue jumping or space saving - it could save them a lot of hassle on busy days. That said he loved the go karts and his confidence grew lap by lap.

There was a boating lake which due to the queues we didn't go on, but we did feed the fish and ducks. The adventure play area is very impressive.

My son might be a bit old for a lot of the activities here, and we wished we had made the effort to come when both of my children were younger.

There was also a paddling play area - which we didn't come prepared for but the kids here all seemed to be loving it.

There are places to sit if you bring your own food and also food on sale here.

All in all a plesant day.

Visited today, with a large range of ages 1-36. Although the car park looked full there were lots of spaces and it wasn't that busy!

We all had a great day, not liking your new burger system, feel burger and chips with a drink used to be better. And cheaper... lots of wasps again.

The upgrade of the play equipment is fantastic.

I didn't like the pool too much I feel the water cannons should be switched off as people ie me trying to watch my son were getting sprayed by the children putting their hands in the spray and directing onto us.... actually woke my sleeping nephew up with a cold shower.. literally!

All in all a good day out.

A nice selection of animals, some of which the kids can feed. Great play areas both indoor and outdoor. Picnic areas. Owl and similar animal displays and education. A few rides. Crazy golf. Bouncy pillows... really a great little day out with the kids.
The only point to mention is it needs a signpost to the entrance as it's up a dirt track type road and you'd never know on the first visit.

Visited here with my partner, 5 year old and 2 month old. This is one of the best all round places I have been, it has something for every age group (a lot of fun things for adults as well!) it is fantastic. Good value for money, extremely clean all round, animals all happy and well looked after and the rides are all brilliant! Can't fault Knockhatch adventure park in the slightest! Will be returning in the very near future 👍👍👍

Knockhatch keeps improving year on year. Every time we visit, we notice a new addition to the park. Even on peak days, it is still competitively priced. All ages are catered for, we took 4 children from 4 years old and younger and they had a great time indoors and outside.
We found for the first time, the young children's play park, with sand pit, climbing frames, slides and swings. Not sure how long it has been here but the grand-children enjoyed it. The soft play is always the first call and then the cannon run. With the mix of animals as well, wallabies and meerkats are great, we found that we didn't do everything in one day.
If you have Tesco vouchers, these can be used, although you have to buy individual tickets if you use Tesco vouchers.
A great day out for all the family.

Visited knockhatch today for the first time and we absolutely loved it! We arrived at 10 am and stayed until closing. The children had an amazing day all of your staff are friendly and always happy to talk to you about the animals. The guy running your owl show today was so friendly and even stopped to chat whilst he was out training Jackson the owl. This place is amazing value for money we couldn't recommend it more. We will definitely be visiting again. Well done to all of the people who work here and for also the dedication they put into caring for the lovely well kept animals :)

We have taken our children here with friends many times and they are always investing in new attractions and theres loads to keep them busy for hours, they have a bit of everything from play areas to larger attractions like the giant bounce bubble and they also have farm animals. When we visited they had just installed a new air soft shooting play area and apparently they have some more new things open now and we will be visiting again soon during the holidays as they always seems to have something new.

First of all I would like to say that everyone in the group that I was with thoroughly enjoyed our day at Knockhatch adventure park. There was a good variety of activities for adults and children and I especially like the fact that a number of the children's activities were inclusive for adults. The laser game was really good fun and everybody who took part in enjoyed it and the boating lake is far larger than it first looks and was a lot of fun. At 1:30 we understood that the owl display was due to start and so we got there 10 minutes early so as not to miss it. The doors were closed so we didn't go in I we waited for 15 minutes at which point a lot of people come out the barn and the owl handler came out and said that the doors have been opened at 1:30 and the display was over. When we said that we had got there early he suggested that the clocks had gone wrong but did not apologise for the situation. My group had 11 people and there was a group had been waiting even longer than we had and we were very disappointed to have missed out and especially disappointed in the way that the staff member handled the situation. Another issue was that in the bird enclosures near the entrance some of the enclosures were quite dirty and In one enclosure there was a dead bird. We reported this to the member staff but it was still there four hours later. It Did eventually get cleared up but the park was not so busy that it could not have been done earlier and it could've been distressing distressing to young children. There was one duckpond that looked really grubby and quite disgusting. Other than those issues the whole day was thoroughly enjoyable and I would deafly recommend this park as a place to visit with kids or with older children as there is enough for everyone to do. Thank you for providing a great day out.

My boyfriend and I came here in March this year, after being intrigued by it for a while. Due to the time of year, the rowing boats and water slide were closed, but that didn't stop us from having loads and loads of fun. We loved the wallaby walkway, as well as the cute, fluffy animals. Unfortunately the bird display had already happened, but the birds of prey themselves were very impressive to look at, and there is also a cockatoo called Barney, who adores attention and will happily shout out his name to you if you pay him some.

It is of course a popular kids attraction, but ultimately adults can have just as much fun as the children. Adults are allowed on the bungee trampolines, the drop slide, the bigger jumping pillow and the go karts. My boyfriend and I had great fun on the jumping pillow, and it was a great feeling to be a bungee trampoline again. We also had great fun in the laser zone, which is a very impressive set up with plenty of hiding places from which you can cast a sneaky hit at your opponent. The go kart course is small but enjoyable, and although we didn't do the crazy golf, this certainly looked like good fun. The food is good, and the area itself is clean and well kept with friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely come again!

Not a bad place for kids. The only negative is that there are lots of things that cost extra money and not included in the admission price.

Visited here a number of times with my grandchildren aged 5 and 7. They have yearly passes and visit regularly and love to take Nanny visiting all the animals. There is so much for everyone to do here.
