Brilliant place to go in the summer. Not sure how good it would be in the winter. Managed to get free entry with Tesco points

Can't believe I had never been here when living so close! There was so much to do; indoor and outdoor play areas, slides, water activities, animals, bird shows, quadapillar. I went with family including a 2yr, 6yr and 9yr old. They loved the animals and how close they could get. The slides were great for the adults too. Plenty of picnic tables and good value for money.

We visited on quite a grey day with drizzle but it didn't matter as there was so much to do! The last time we visited it was January 2016 and the place has been updated and this time seemed so big! In fact we didn't visit everything! I know it was an 'orange day' when everything was open but there were places we have never seen before especially the playground and bungee trampolines. Talking of the bungee trampolines I must mention Jake who helped my four year old grandson enjoy a great experience! All the staff were friendly and helpful but Jake should have a special mention! Some things were extra like the bungee trampolines but a lot were included in the entrance price like the quad barrel rides which was a pleasant surprise. The owl display both outside and inside were well done and very informative. Animals well looked after and some hands on. Food better than before and not over priced. Loads to do! Well worth a visit!

I did the Owl Experience today at Knockhatch. The young man who taught us to fly the birds was so knowledgeable on every owl in existence. He gave us continuous information about the birds and really involved us in his experiences. This was a most memorable day out.

Today curtesy of Tesco vouchers we went knockhatch adventure park. Our first time. Nan grandad daughter two granddaughters age 7 and 10. When it was time to go to say the younger one had the hump is an under statement! They really enjoyed the bungee trampolines and the quad barrel rides. They loved the big new playground. And grandad well I can still hear him laughing when the ten year old and him came Dow the big water splash slide. After waiting half an hour the younger one decided it wasn't for her. It's a very very high slide. Heights don't usually bother her she does 50 ft up rock climbing!! But it was quite fierce. They loved being able to stroke the White wallaby. And we'd like to point out all the 'young' staff were very pleasant mannered and very helpful. The only criticiscism was we paid for go karts. They measured them at the entrance and said the youngest was good to go but when we got to the ride the chap said she was too short. Bit upsetting for the kids! So...... Could you get the same measuring sticks please to avoid upset in the future. Great day out tho. And they finished the day off in the splash pool. So don't forget towel and cosies.

Really super venue for a family with young kids. Our 7yr and 9yr old boys loved it. Very good staff on each attraction. Everything was clean and thought it was excellent value for money. Paid £58 for family ticket with 4 additional activities for each of my boys.

An hour and a half drive but well worth it. My 2 children aged 9 and 18 months had a fantastic day. Plenty of picnic seating, a nice mix of activities and things to do, reasonably priced although cheaper online which I will definitely do next time! Overall 2 happy children and a worn out mum!

We took our 3 grandchildren here, our first visit. What a great place. There are so many things to do.Our 10 and 7 year old loved the big water slide and the rather scary Demon Drop. The 5 year old enjoyed other things but they all loved the climbing wall.Toilets were clean ,the sun was shining and everyone was happy!Although there were a few charges extra for some attractions they were not excessive and the admission charges were reasonable for what was there.Well worth a visit and we shall definitely go again.

We booked on-line for a family of 4 (as you get 20% off) and for £33, it was an absolute bargain.
Its about 5 years since we have been, and they have installed two bouncy pillows (one for older children, one for younger children), a water runner slide which is great fun, and revamped the crazy golf course. They have put in a large wooden play area, and a new splash area for younger children. My boys are aged 10 and 13, and still found it fun. They are old enough to go on the proper go karts (which at £4.50 a go is a bit of a cheek when you have already paid for entrance). Additional costs for the bungee trampoline, but its about £2 a go. I think the climbing wall was £2 each. They liked the animal encounters ie held a Tarantula spider, snake etc. and all in all, had a great day out.

Staff were all friendly and polite.water slide was great fun! My daughter loved Pirate's cove where there is a paddling pool-lovely and hot today so perfect to cool off in. Also went on the Runaway train simulator-we all enjoyed that. Play areas were great, but avalanche slide as rubbish-(sorry it was). Really good fun out and loved seeing the meerkats and wallabies oh and the quad a pillar ride was really enjoyed!

Visited with friends with children ageing from 6-14. Plenty for them all yo do and most if the activities were included in the price.

Well worth booking in advance if able as tickets are cheaper and they have an entrance for pre paid so you miss queuing.

Big pillow and water slide were the biggest hits with the kids, for the grown ups it was the row boats that bought the most laughter.

Plenty of picnic benches and grassy areas to sit with good views of where the children play.

Took our own food, drinks were reasonably priced and option to leave picnic in the car and re enter as long as you get your hand stamped.

Great place to go with a group and great value for money

We went to Knockhatch Adventure Park for the day today. What a fantastic place it is,we spent the whole day there. Plenty for the kids to do and see, there are farm animals , owl flying displays, giant slides , adventure play ground , rowing boats, runaway mine train simulator, all in the price .
Food is good and the price cheaper than some places ,the only thing that lets it down is the long queue to order . all the staff are polite and friendly the whole place including toilets are kept very clean,
They open at 10 am but i would advise that you get there an hour before opening as it is very popular , and its a long walk to the overflow car parks, apart from that its a great day out for the whole family, WELL DUNE KNOCKHATCH we will be back.

This is such a kid friendly place, so much to do for the over 5's. The water slide does have height restrictions though.

Booked 4 children and 2 adults online and saved a few bob, but to be honest this park is such good value. Online booking also avoids the queues to get in and the kids go straight through and are enjoying themselves instantly on small scale attractions which won't take your breath away but they are so much fun. This is a rustic style park and everything is done in a such a simple way, the driver on the caterpillar ride may get bored with saying "do you want to go round again", although he didn't look it, but that's because he's got the best job in the park. The different animals even looked content with their day, being hand fed by kids, especially the llamas who are such gentle creatures close up. We all loved our day here!

Why have I never heard of this place before? What an amazing day out we have had today. And what astonishing value for money. I took my 5 year old nephew and Mother here today, having never been before I only had the website to go by and it didn't look nearly as fun packed and entertaining as it turned out to be. There's everything from a petting zoo with plenty of places to wash hands, to different types of playgrounds, soft play areas, barrel ride, crazy golf, giant bounce pillows, slides of all shapes and sizes, swing chairs, a simulator ride, a boating lake and much more - all free and included in your entry price which was only £25 for a family of 3. There were only four additional larger things that you had to pay extra for (lazer game, bungee trampolines, go karts and the climbing wall) and a couple of things that required £1 (diggers, quad bumper bikes). We ate simply in the soft play hall, 2 toasties, cheese and beans on toast and two teas only came to £12. Absolute value in every way. Would visit again and again. We all loved it.
