I have my family from America visiting with five grandchildren ages 5 to 14. We had an amazing day at Knockhatch, there is so much to do there. We actually didn’t get round everything at all, and I don’t live close by so we are not able to go back, but would love to visit again had it been possible. There are lots of small animal things for the younger children to take an interest in, as well special events during the day like owl demonstrations and feeding and learning about the meerkats. The paddling pool was great for the younger ones, so do take a swimsuit and towel.
There are some things which you have to pay extra for, like the go karts (great for the older ones) and trampoline bungee jumping, which is a shame as all inclusive would be better. That said, everyone loved them. The indoor and outdoor playgrounds were fantastic, and the water slides brilliant fun. Lots of picnic areas, lots of helpful young staff and very clean. All in all a great day out!

I like this place. It has no pretensions of being Disney or similar. Having said that, I was genuinely impressed with what was on offer.

The wave slide is very good for older children and adults

The dinosaur slides are fantastic (vertical)

The splash pool is small but great for under 8s

The quad pillar ride? Don’t bother.

Indoor soft play - very decent.

The owl sanctuary - interesting and pleasant respite from the sun.

It’s all easy and manageable and we had a great 4 hours there (usually I’m itching to leave after 2 hours!)

One issue is that there is simply not enough staff around the place. You don’t ever see staff other than at their rose station.

Great value for money. They don't money grab once your in. All of the best activities are included in your admission price. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis. 6*

Not much to do considering the ticket prices. The indoor play areas are really good but they need rides. £1.80 for a slush, 2 out of 3 cups were split and they tasted vile, much too strong. Bought an ice lolly which was all broken in the packet and refused a refund.

We've been aware of Knockhatch for some time but only just got round to visiting . We should have been sooner and will definitely will be going again.

Took advantage of the 20% discount by booking online the day before. Very reasonable pricing.

Lots to do so that our 6 year old granddaughter (who was given complete freedom of choice) could not get round to see everything in one day. The paddling/splash pool took up a lot of time! We were pleasantly surprised at the number of rides that are included in the ticket price. OK, so we did have to fork our for the Bungee Trampoline, but the staff were very attentive and made the experience special.

We took our own food, so cannot comment on the food for sale, but drinks were not expensive.

We were surprised at the lack of queues, despite going on the first day of the school holidays with brilliant weather. There were several indoor things, but the good weather certainly helped make for a fantastic day out.

This place is great for young kids and young kids at heart. We had a fantastic day out celebrating my friends daughters birthday and we had fun as adults. From riding in tractors seeing the animals and best part jumping on the big air trampolines. A must for a good picnic and family day.

Fantastic place to visit for a low key, stress free day out. We visited when it was very hot but there's quite a bit of shade around and lots of activities.

The kids loved the wave runner and the bungee trampolines!

Great place for Adults and Children. So much to do for a day out. A great mixture of animals and adventure activities with boating lake. The owl demonstrations were brilliant. Had a meerkat experience for two. Also got bonus to feed skunk and coatis. We travelled a long way but it was worth every minute. Great thanks to Ben and Owen, two of the keepers, so knowledgeable, friendly and made our day very special. Thanks

We really enjoyed our visit here today. A highlight was being able to meet and feed the enchanting wallabies. All the animals seem very well cared for, the owls were being taken out individually for a fly around by an obviously dedicated keeper.
The new dinosaur attraction is very well themed and enticing for older children. In fact, there is lots to do for visitors of all ages. A charming member of staff (Andre) helped us on and off the rowing boats, indeed all the staff were excellent. Finally, the shop was very well stocked with gifts for all ages at all price points. This is something attractions often get wrong. We will definitely be back!

We took our 3.5 year old granddaughter there with our son and his wife. The 'activities' included a number for older children, but there is plenty for the very young, even if accompanied by a bold adult (e.g. water slide, boating on the lake).

I'm glad the weather was fine and warm, as almost everything was in the great outdoors.

For us the most interesting were the indoor and outdoor owl displays. The 'handlers' were both knowledgeable and patient with the owls nd it was very interesting to watch and hear about the different types they have there.

The main downside was the poor quality of the food, which was very limited and contained too many unhealthy and unappetising 'dishes' (e.g. cheesy chips - potato chips with melted cheese poured over the top). Several eating places that, according to the website, should have been open on that day were closed. Where we did eat (Picnic Barn ??) there was only one member of staff on duty to deal with the food and the till.

This is strictly a place for the young which many seemed to be enjoying.

It is advisable to book online. That way you a) get (slightly) cheaper rates and b) avoid the queues to get in.
