It's OK. I love the selection of market stools down the promenade. I got myself a real viking drinking horn AND a lovely pair of graffiti kittens! When they finish renovating the pier itself, I will return but right now it's just a crowded bar and arcade. Staff are very quirky and a right giggle. The staff were the best bit in fact! Great for a quick drink or bite for lunch but wouldn't stay there all day! The sun sets behind the buildings earlier than most beaches on the south coast because of the way everything faces. Big shadows block out the sun so don't get to comfy in the evening as it get nippy!

Great from afar however was closed when visiting on the weekend probably from storms however this wasn't advertised until we got there and it was closed.<br><br>Make sure it's open the day you're going!

Still a work in progress after a nearly disastrous fire in July 2014, but you get an excellent view of Eastbourne seafront .. you must have a stroll on a pier if you're visiting the seaside.

The arcade is great fun my children and I had a very good time here! Lots of different game machines to choose from too!<br>The cafe and ice cream store on the pier were good too great sized portions and friendly, helpful staff!

This pier has a run down feel and offers few amenities. Perhaps the new buildings currently under construction will enhance the visitor experience when completed and occupied?

I think this pier has suffered due to covid. Lots of empty shops and so not much life on it. Could be so much better. Good that you can listen to live music on a Sunday afternoon at the venue on the end of the pier
