Victorian pier with amusement arcade, pub, tuck shop, crystal and gemstone shop and a victorian tea room. A lot was closed during our visit and empty, which is a shame as it was a lot of dead space. Would be nice to see it in full use.

Pier ok
Bar ok
Bought a waffle from the candy shop snd was appalled
Two young girls eating crisps and licking their fingers prepared the toppings and my waffle not once washing their hands, indeed I didn’t even see a washbasin

Don’t go there

Last Summer the pier was closed which was a bit disappointing. It is open now and we walked to the end to see the fishermen. Unfortunately many of the shop buildings are empty at the moment although the tea room was open. Worth a look but not a great deal to see.

Lots of empty retail units. Nice food and drink at the pub, despite the external appearance.

Lovely place to take the little ones if you have a few hours. Despite the lockdown year the amusements, bar, tea rooms and other businesses have survived. You can get food, drink and treats for the classic seaside experience. Either side is a lovely broad pebble beach with easy access to the sea

Nice pier open to the public. We didn't visit any of the bars and cafés but the walk is worth it. Astonishing views of the town and the cliffs in the horizon.

I can't give a fair rating as I couldn't go on the pier with my dog. It looked nice from afar after rebuilding due to the fire 🔥

A nice little Pier. Some food places, a bar, gift shop and some family amusement. Not the biggest pier I've been to but some lovely views, and interesting local History. I would go back.

Elegant looking pier, which following a fire, has less entertainment than it had before. It still offers good views, small shops and refreshments and a small area with games, along with a fishing area at the far end.

A great step out into the sea without getting your feet wet. And great fish and chips too from the chippy by the entrance.
