Eastbourne is a resort town on England’s southeast coast. On the seafront are Victorian hotels, the 19th-century Eastbourne Pier and a 1930s bandstand. Towner Art Gallery includes modern British works. Nearby, Redoubt Fortress, built during the Napoleonic Wars, has a military museum. Southwest along the coast, in South Downs National Park, are the tall chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and its striped 1902 lighthouse.

Some beautiful features to this pier, the lamps in particular, top glass sections appear ro have been removed (ugly arc lights attached at present) hoping the original style will be replaced when done. Main buildings being worked on but the end of the pier still seems intact and you can sit here and enjoy the view and have a drink at the bar.

Really nice traditional pier with usual shop and food offerings. Only let down for us due to not allowing dogs (even on lead).

We were in Eastbourne for the weekend and decided to walk along the pier. The weather was good and it was not too busy. On the end of the pier is a pub with live music which looked very popular.

It was good on the pier with something for everyone, only 1 problem, there are no toilets only in the amusments arcade and the bar, and as my husband was in a wheel chair, no disabled facilities were available

Splendid view of the pier. Take a leisurely walk along the seafront and have a browse at the various stalls of gorgeously crafted items on sale. Tons of options for eat in or take-away and ine-creams. You'll have a fun filled time.

The pier was good just avoid the chippy. They were cooking each order separately resulting in a long wait for below par food. Back to the pier it has what you'd expect. Amusements albeit basic. Entertainment and a band.
