This pier is well maintained & clean. Not too long but long enough to let you help your digestion. Usual pier amusements if that's what floats your boat.

A typical English Pier with slot machines,a cafe,a very nice shop, and for the teenagers a nightclub.Sit and watch the sea going in and out,and watch the world go by

Last week my husband and I visited Eastbourne Pier. The grass effect at the entrance is a lovely shade of green and gives the effect that you are walking into your favourite auntie's front room.

The Victorian Tearoom is an oasis of tranquility and the view from the windows is truly spectacular. The prices are so reasonable and the food so good that diets are forgotten while eating there.

Everything on the pier reminds us of our childhood.

The whole place is so well kept and really clean it is obvious that the staff take a pride in their pier.

Von weitem sehr schön. Auf der Seebrücke direkt leider nur Zockerhallen und Ramschläden. Ziemlich enttäuschend.

Spend the day here, lovely beach abide pebbly. Some nice restaurants and lovely views. Felt I was in a french town . Of course the main street was very much a high street but off the high street the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Highly recommended for a stay.

Eastbourne Pier caught fire some 3 years ago and is owned by an Arab who has completely maintained it! Large open space to the front and is still being renovated but open to the public - has beautiful gold domes giving it an Middle Eastern flavour. There is talk of a boat ride from the end of the pier. Worth a visit.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon with friends on Eastbourne Pier. Lots of seating to enable several breaks from walking. Lovely tea rooms also a pub with helpful staff! Had a lovely sandwich of egg mayonaise.

Already left lots of footprints on the pier. I walk on the pier almost every day when im in Eastbourne. It's got a few shops, but more important, the view of eastbourne's seafront and the sea itself is gorgeous. For me the pier means a nice stroll. Thank god it survived the fire a few years ago! Eastbourne without it's pier just wouldn't be the same.

Nice views from the pier itself and lots of places to sit but very limited attractions. VERY DISAPPOINTED in "The Victorian Tea Rooms." Although nearly empty, we were ignored for ages and when we went to the counter the waitress who said she'd be right with us then approached the people who had just arrived! To add insult to injury the cream tea was awful! Terrible coffee & scones. I wouldn't bother! Go to cafe nearby on the beach - much nicer!

What a lovely spacious walk you can have along the pier here. You would not be able to tell that after the awful destruction due to the fire that there had been a fire at all. Fresh looking paintwork, lots of benches and seating areas, tea room, rock and gift shops, mini arcade and at the end of the pier a small but quaint bar (called 1901). All in all, and enjoyable walk.

There's just not much to do on there anymore, unless you like tat stalls and stale cream teas.
