We'd gone out to celebrate our wedding anniversary and ended up late afternoon at the pier.

As we walked down we noticed the pretty cafe that serves afternoon teas, had a sign up saying closed, so we carried on walking and soon came across the bar.

We decided to go in and noticed it's got lots of quaint seats, a bit like thrones which I found quite amusing!

The bar staff greeted us and asked what we'd like to drink and I noticed a sign saying cocktails were available and I asked if they did a long island iced tea and was happy to hear they did!

It was perfect and I really enjoyed it. Service was excellent here and we stayed for a couple of drinks and had a lovely time.

We look forward to going here again soon :)

It was our first time in Eastbourne - and what a delightful seaside town it is. We queued up for a typical seaside lunch! It was busy and they got through the crowds , but to the detriment of the quality of the food. The fish was cooked, but the batter was pale and soggy , the chips were cooked - just! There was plenty of seating on the pier (amongst seagulls) - let's say it filled a gap!!

this was my first time in Eastbourne, the pier was not to bad considering it had been on fire other than a tea room and pub there is little else on it.

.
This pier is slowly returning to life and although the locals resent the tardiness of the gold paint to the domes it adds to its attraction. It’s less crowded than Brighton but it has been painted and repaired where it needs to be. Being a visitor to Eastbourne the pier wonderful to see and walk along. I know a lot of the locals are against this fine structure being treated like the way it is but sometimes a fresh approach is needed and I think has done the trick. Would they rather see it left to rot and get beyond repair and lost forever, now that would be an injustice. Definitely worth a walk to the end and back.

Lovely place to walk and have a view over the whole of Eastbourne beach. Quite a few small arcades and racket shops also but the view is the reason for the points

The Pier has improved since fire destroyed the main hall which, was once a fine building but in its final years was only used as a slot machine arcade.<br>Under new ownership, the Pier is gradually being renovated and now looks better than it has for many years. It has many tourist shops, a jazz lounge and a tea room that is worth visiting for a cuppa, a sit down and a marvel at the enormous chandeliers that now hang there.

Nice pier. Victorian tea room has gone downhill. Few little shops on pier and a bar. Plenty of space

Don't expect too much about this pier and not a big one as Brighton. But neat and have few eating places and games etc..

Came here at around 6pm on a Sunday afternoon. It does not have the insanity of the Brighton Pier and has a very calm and relaxed attitude. There is a combination of restaurants and arcades. There is a great tea house on the pier.
