Wandering around Eastbourne and could hear a live band, coming from the Pier. Went and sat down to listen to them play outside the pub on the pier. Very enjoyable and relaxing. As for the pier itself, several units were empty sadly. However, they are trying to keep it well maintained which is good news for its future.

On holiday in the area, we made a visit to this beautiful old pier. Excellent views on a sunny day, plenty of places to sit and relax and watch the sea. Some nice gift shops, pleasant people. The large pavilion at the end seemed to be being renovated, but we enjoyed walking around, plus coffee in the Victorian tea room.

Cool and all but a lot of the shops were closed and the places to get ice cream nearby were expensive. I love the paint job and I wish there was more information about the history of the pier on site.

Not the same without the massive arcade centre but still some arcades at the back and the middle. Needs a few more coffee shops or food options in the middle

Really lovely place. Pier has amusements, swanky Victorian tea rooms and benches to sit on along one side. Highly recommend a visit.

Visited to check out the views and get some photos of a friends car.<br>If you're used to london prices, then it's very reasonable, the people are decent, and the views are awesome.<br><br>I highly recommend it.

I had a great time on Sat 9th Sept on the pier. The two musicians were excellent playing some very good old numbers. People up dancing having a ball. This was about 5. Pm. Weather great at the end of the pier. Rock and roll time. Lovely jubley.
