Hardly a match to Brighton’s famous pier but the thing did half burn down a few years ago

We had an absolutely brilliant afternoon on Eastbourne Pier. We found ourselves at the music venue at the end of the pier called Drop In The Ocean. They had a band playing in the afternoon which was absolutely brilliant, people where up dancing and singing, and the atmosphere was fab. We ended up staying for the evening to, grabbing some food and listening to the band inside for the evening to. The pier is lovely, it as the usual arcades but it feels more Victorian than any of the other piers on the coast in the Sussex area. It is well maintained, has shops, food of course the music venue at the end. This is now my favourite go to pier and we will be back. Take the time to look at the pier from the beach to, its very beautiful.
We walked past the following morning and there seemed to be a steam punk gathering and even people playing bagpipes, I get the feeling there is always something to see and do on Eastbourne Pier
The pier is wheel chair and buggy friendly

Free entry onto pier, great for a stroll, tea room, restaurants, gift shops, pub. Plenty of seating to just sit and enjoy the surroundings. Well worth a visit if in Eastbourne.

Enjoyed having the walk up and down the pier. The arcade machines are cheaper than the ones in London so I was happy to have a few games in there.

Always enjoy the Arcades on the Pier, there is lots of other cafés and points of interest too.

It does look a little battered, but that's expected because of the location.

Well maintained pier with a few stores, a bar, a lovely looking place for afternoon tea. Being a bank holiday the bar had a band which brought a crowd, very chilled visit on a bank holiday Monday

Not a great deal to do. Amusements, bar couple of places to get food, not a huge amount on offer.
