As piers go this one is worth walking along but at this time of year nearly everything was closed, the fish and chip shop at the beginning was open and we had some chips each which were nice but we thought their cans of coke were at bit expensive so didn't get that, we went to the Tesco instead lol

Great to walk around one of the country's best piers. So much original features. Lots of good live music activity and many bird murmurations.

I went there with my dad and my sister Brooke to the pier on a lovely sunny day. We went to the arcade and won some prizes and looked at the shops in the actual pier. I enjoyed it, it was fantastic.

The pier was constructed in Victorian times but has been damaged and repaired numerous times due to war, weather and fire. Today it provides all sorts of entertainment for visitors. It is 300 meters long and has many benches for sitting and admiring the views. There is a music venue, bar, cafe, food stalls, gift shops- well something for everyone really! Well worth a visit!

Seen better days but why not grab some chips and stroll along the pier anyway, perhaps grabbing a swift drink at the end of the pier. Still a few shops on the pier and you can always have afternoon tea.
