The Eastbourne pier has a rustic feel to it, but it could use some more to do. It’s nice to visit and take pictures but that’s about it.

Looks freshly refurbished. The big arcade at the front has gone leaving a wonderful open space with picnic tables scattered about it.

Eastbourne Pier is having some money spent on it and after over a century of providing free fun for promenaders it is still a lovely place to spend time.
A lot of our seaside piers are dilapidated but Eastbourne is not at all bad, there are the usual ice creams and nick nack stalls and a rather nice cafe half way along.
There are delightful views from any point and we loved watching the jellyfish swim underneath us, it’s a British tradition to promenade along the pier, let’s keep doing it!

Nice walk along the Pier. Good view's, an arcade, little shops and places to eat including a lovely tea room where you can have afternoon tea.

Nice for a walk along and sit . Amusements as you would expect and arcade of slot machines etc. Couple of shops selling seaside things. Cafes etc. free to go on, whats not to like about a lovely british pier.

We are so lucky to have some piers on our British seafronts! This is a lovely pier and worth a stroll on....the seafront near the pier is wonderful clean pretty with flowers and at this time of year we have all the traders with their gazebos selling fabulous items from garden furniture, clothing to slush puppies!!

The pier is OK, nice views of Eastbourne and the usual pier amusements, tea shop etc. Definitely a shame that the camera obscura is no longer open.

when the weather is good nice to walk along the pier have something to eat in the restaurant.lampposts are painted gold, no litter, lovely & clean not much to do on the pier except look at the sea have an ice cream but after that you can stroll to the high street where you will find a good antique shop

Nicht so spektakulär wie Brighton, nicht so modern wie Hastings. Dennoch Charing, da es hier nicht so übervoll wie in Brighton ist.<br><br>Preise für Eis oder Snacks sind naturgemäß recht hoch, man findet aber genug Alternativen in der näheren Umgebung.

Much smaller than most piers but well maintained, pretty and with good views over Eastbourne. A shame that the far end is closed, presumably for restoration. Great ice cream at the entrance 😋
