Quite a picturesque view of the Pier is seen in the distance as one meanders along the seafront. Also, wonderful to see from up on Beachy Head as well. Once you enter Eastbourne's Pier, the aroma of ice cream and food automatically draws one on too explore the vast stretch of the Pier. Very attractive shops & stalls do catch one's eyes, so enter these doors & possibly purchase an item or two, you certainly won't forget it. Have fun & chat along the way.

I tend to judge a pier on how far it makes you feel from the town it emerges from, but when i went, the end of the pier was closed. But i'm sure it would have been ace if the far end wasn't closed, as it is quite a long pier

That said, the views from the pier were really pretty, and the pier seemed fairly lively. A focal point for locals and tourists alike. It has it's own unique vibe, with the white towers topped with gold. The arcades were making lots of noise, and people of all ages were enjoying the scenery and the atmosphere

Definitely worth a wander if you are in town! :)
