A great place to bring the children, with outdoor climbing frames, swings and slides. A nature walk, maze and the ride on steam train.

We had a really enjoyable day at the miniature railway. We purchased the unlimited ride tickets as going round once is never enough. In addition to the very well set up and run train they have brilliant play areas and lots of space around the lake so even on a busy summers day you can find space for a picnic. Definitely a 5 star place to go.

Great day out would highly recommend. Very reasonable price for family entry and lots of activities for kids to do. Just make sure you have lots of 20p's as there are lots of mini train sets that need this to run.

We paid for the family unlimited ticket, well worth the little extra. The kids absolutely loved the steam trains we went on numerous times ! The staff all so friendly and welcoming, they definitely love their job! The maze was great fun. The mini indoor trains brought back great memories x Loved by all and will be back and will recommend to all!! The lake was so tranquil , was a pleasure to watch the people fishing x all the little trains were 20p each.

Visited here yesterday with 2 grandchildren and it was the best day ever , weather was perfect but the whole place was immaculate , clean , staff were fantastic , so much for the kids to do , and the train rides around the park were the highlight for our grandkids . Value for money to , we were lucky enough to have won a family ticket but l would gladly pay to return again and again 🤩

Kids go absolutely mental for the trains, and unlike many other local attractions, you don't have to remortgage for the entry fee. Well worth visiting.

I have been visiting this place for about 16 years with my children.
It is well run and managed by a lovely family.
My kids particularly love the train ride.
The nature walk is pleasant .
The play areas have been updated gradually over the years.
Everyone enjoys the maze which can get very muddy after rain.
Generally It’s all reasonably priced.
There’s not much for adults and children over 10 years to do , however it’s great for the little ones.
It’s worth getting membership if your a regular to the railway.
There’s nothing to do there if it rains apart from a tiny hut with model trains in it and a brief history of the railway
it would benefit from an indoor cafe as at present there’s only an outdoor one to sit at.

Visited with family, kids really loved it! Especially all the noisy signals, Entrance price and cafe prices are reasonably priced which makes a nice change form your usual rip off places, the train and play area etc all kept really nice and staff are very friendly.
If your in the area you should definitely come here.
