Spent a very pleasant couple of hours here. Great for small kids with play area and model trains. Also a maze and nature walk around the lake. The level on engineering in the locomotives and rolling stock is excellent. Food and drink prices reasonable. £5.50 per adult including 1 ride on the train seems good value. All the kids there seem to love it.

An absolutely amazing miniture railway. A large collection of locomotives. Highly recommended. You could spend all day here. Nice walk around the lake. Fantastic value and great for children of all ages.

Fun family day out. Playground, cafe and trains that run on time - so if southern manage to get you there, at least one train journey will be on time and enjoyable - and thats not the southern one!! Very reasonably priced. Recommended.

Lovely place for a family day out. Little steam train going round the whole place is great fun to ride, and it is worth the extra for couple.of pound unlimited rides. More than 1 Park area, all beautifully clean.

Nice day out with kids, everything needed for kids day out available here, decent cafe, gift shop, play area and picnic area. I been to many miniature railways, here only one locomotive running whole day, there is no variety of engines available to ride and only one big track. If they do different locomotive ride same day it will be more interesting.

We had a lovely day out at Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway with my two daughters and 3 grandsons, aged 5, 2 and 2. The boys all had great fun riding on the little train, playing in the numerous parks and walking round the nature trail. The shed with the train layouts was especially popular with our 5 year old…make sure to take a pocketful of 20p's to make the trains move! Also popular was a small wooden train table layout – fortunately it seemed only a few kiddies at a time wanted to play with it but a future investment might be a few more of these as demand could increase! We had a snack in the restaurant/café which was very good value. Everywhere was clean and the staff were very friendly. For kiddies (and Grandads!) who love trains this is the perfect place.

My girls love the miniature railway and playground. It is one of the few parks that kids can be allowed to run around freely.
With plenty of seating for the grown ups to watch the fun you can keep an eye on the kids while still letting them play. There is also a nice walk around the lake to 2 other play areas, the gnome garden and the maze.
The cost of entry and the prices at the café are reasonable and make this a great value day out.

Arriving with a 5 and 2 year old, the train rides are perfect. The many play areas are well looked after, clean and the kids love them. We are local and have a yearly membership, which is very reasonable. It’s a great place for the kids to ride and train, have lunch and hit the play parks.

What a super place to visit. I hadn't been for a while but some additions to play areas and picnic areas. Brilliant for children up to about 12. Food is good. Lovely walk around the lake as well as the train ride. Buy a ticket with unlimited train rides and it is a cheap day out. £7 for children and seniors. Family ticket available. Our grandchildren had 6 rides each!!
