There is something for everyone at the Bandstand. Whether it's dancing to a tribute act, or listening to a brass band, or a sing-a-long. The acts are always the best and popular, and reasonably priced.

My wife, Grandson and my Sister-in- Law went down to the New Year Day show on the Bandstand.
Despite the rain and the cold there was good numbers watching.
We purchased done mulled wine and joined the numbers.
The music was great and they played lots of tunes from the East End.
A good couple of hours with people dancing to the music, with a good mixture of old and young people.
Planning to attend next Year.

Visited Eastbourne for New Years to see family and walked along a very cold, wet and windy beach on New Years Day there seemed to be no one around but 11:00 at the bandstand the musicians started and despite the dreadful weather a couple of hundred people emerged from their hideouts and watched, clapped, sang along and danced in the rain. A really wonderful free concert.
Well done Eastbourne council, free music, free parking for bank holiday and free entry to the pier!

Spending time down in Eastbourne over Christmas. We didn't want to miss the brass band perform in the band stand. What a wonderful atmosphere it was with so many people there to listen.
It really was a great start to the day.

What an innovative use of the perimeter walk around the band stand at the upper level during the December days. Lots of little wooden chalets erected (on a temporary basis I hasten to add!) selling all sorts of Christmas gifts and food in a very relaxed atmosphere . Called in a couple of times once during the day and tonight just after dark at about 5.00pm Magical - well done to whoever thought up this idea for local businesses

Has regular concerts through the summer. We caught the tale-end of the last Wednesday show of the summer. Great fireworks.Fabulous 1935 architecture.

we had such a great evening at the jersey boys thank you for a fantastic night ,my wife and i booked the concert along with another 8 friends and were not dissappointed ,we were up in the balcony all managed to sit together which was great seeing as it was first come basis ,would definately visit again

Great venue for an evening out. Have been several times to watch the tribute bands. The people are friendly and fun. Everyone joins in with singing and dancing. The tribute bands are brilliant. Highly recommend
