My son received a red panda encounter for his birthday, he was shown around the food prep kitchens, prepared the food and was then able to go into the enclosure and feed the red pandas. I couldn’t believe how close we were able to get to them! It was a magical experience and far exceeded our expectations. He has said it was the best day ever! The park itself is lovely with plenty of animals, rides, splash pad and nice picnic areas. We are planning another trip in the summer holidays. Drusillas is well worth a visit.

Fabulous place for fun and learning. Lots of information on the well kept animals and great play areas for children of all ages. Loved the way you could learn about the animals habitat and conservation. Could spend all day here and once you're in, you don't have to spend anything else (except refreshments and they're not overpriced!)

Lots of stuff for the little ones to do. Food outlets are very tasty and good portions. Wet park and funfair rides are great but playground better still. No ordinary zoo!

Took my little boy on his 2nd birthday, and it was great and he loved it. We was treated to some excellent weather, which made it 10 times easier to enjoy. We could only spend a few hours there, and we do need to go back to give it the full treatement.

Only negative is that the park is fairly inaccessible by public transport, which did impact the visit for us.

Having not been since I was a kid, I was intrigued to see how Drusillas was. I spent all day with the kids (5 and 3) to get the most out of the entrance fee, which I always thought was pricey. However, pretty much everything inside is included and they were entertained for the full eight hours. We took picnic food to keep the cost down and didn't splash out on the gift shops. The animals were great, with a stamp activity book to accompany our journey through the zoo. Also, great to have the chance to be in with the bats, lemurs and lorrikeets - this was delightful. Once in the main play space, they were off and the part designed for under six years felt safe for them to roam. After that is a mini funfair, which again was brilliant for their ages - I could go on the rides with them and they loved it. Staff were fab and friendly - a really enjoyable day.

Such a fun place for both parents and their kids. Has a zoo and lots off rides for kids. My kids didn't want to leave in the end. A bit pricey though: 2 adults plus 2 kids over £80.

Went with my family, consisting of four adults and four children from 1-7 years old. We went on Father Day and got some discounts on entry. Weather was variable but the whole visit is well suited for buggies, families indoor or outside regardless of the conditions. We went with our own picnic and didn't spend any extra for some of the other activities but didn't miss out. Lots to do for the young ones and didn't get bored. We will certainly go back and if we lived closer would consider a membership.

We were on a trip to East Sussex for a 5 day break. We wanted something to do with our 3 year old on the last day and decided on Drussilas Park.

I'm amazed at how good it actually was (I had my doubts going into it).

The zoo area is brilliant. Different to most zoos I've visited. They had many different species that you don't often find. The route markings are a great touch so you know you've visited all aspects of the zoo.

The theme park area, despite being for the younger children was really good. The rides were perfect for my daughter and she loved every minute of it.

If we ever find ourselves down that neck of the woods again, it'll definitely be on out to do list.
