The park has a very good layout, easy to follow. The animals all have a great amount of space and it’s very personable place. All those working on the day couldn’t be more helpful, I’ll certainly be going back when the little one is born!

I was lucky enough to be given a red panda experience at Drusillas as a present. I wasn’t sure what to expect but what we did was amazing and i had a totally lovely day. I met both beautiful pandas... don’t touch unless they touch you.... and they did 😊 only to get the specially prepared panda cake I helped make but it was fab.

Then we had chance to visit the rest of the park. It started to rain but there were plenty of places to hide from the rain until it passed... and it didn’t upset the animals all were still on top form watching us.

The rides at the park were great too... I’m a little too old for the rides but I had to have a go of the carousel. Only complicated decision of the day was what animal to chose on the carousel 🙂

It’s a lovely day for everyone. The staff are all lovely... the park is lovely and clean... the animals enclosures were all clean and well looked after... all animals seemed healthy. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Have had an amazing first visit today with our 3 year old nephew. What a fabulous place for a fun day out. He was enthralled with the animals - particularly the Meerkats and loved walking through the Lemurs. From an adult point of view all the staff were friendly, smiley and helpful. Facilities were clean and tidy and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Explorer restaurant. There was a good selection of freshly cooked food and my macaroni cheese was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

I went here as a child. Then took my kids there now visited with my 2 granddaughters aged 3 and 4. They loved it! Definitely a good days worth and much much more. They liked the zoo, they loved the play areas, they loved hello kitty rides and the carousel and cheeta rides. Then they discovered the indoor soft play area and we nearly had to drag them out at closing. Good value if you use clubcard vouchers to buy your tickets as you get 3 x value. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic little zoo/park. Impeccably well kept. Lots of interactive activities for children. Can even walk through a bat enclosure. We also did the Red Panda experience which was amazing. We had torrential rain all day and were soaked through but thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There is a fair amount of covered areas but it was just tipping down that day. Looking forward to going back again! Thank you to everyone at the zoo.

I am writing on behalf of my partner and our 7 year old son to say how very impressed and happy we have always been on a visit to Drusillas park. We recently visited the park on Sunday 30th June after several other visits and we all had a super lovely fun filled day. We have highly recommended this park to many friends and family. The park is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the entertainment is always brilliant... I just had to send out our review on the park as it is an absolute gem of a place and deserves all the praise and recognition given...

Thank you to all the team at Drusillas for offering a great place of entertainment for families...

I hoped I'd be giving 5 stars, because in many ways it deserves it. Lots of interactive exhibits for children to learn from, lots of animals and birds that can be seen close to, and rides that are fun, and well run.

The problem I have is twofold: the entry prices are designed to get the maximum amount from families and are extremely unfair. I imagine, like me, a lot of families come once, and once only, rather than returning as children grow older. Charging full price for a child over 2 is ludicrous... no child will attend this zoo alone, will they? Perhaps a local child aged 10 might be dropped off for a day, but 99.9% of children will be accompanied by adults, also paying the full fee. Let's assume two adults accompany a 3-year old, it's going to be £60+ to get in. If children were half the price they'd get £50, and a much better chance of a return another time. I wont be returning, and judging by a lot of comments here, neither will others. What a lot of lost business...

The other reason I deducted a star was the state of the water for the otters and flamingos. It was tiny and filthy in both cases. Otters are aquatic animals and they could barely turn in the pond they had. The flamingos pool was barely a third full. Disgraceful.

You must try harder Drusillas. Consult someone who has proven business sense (an outsider) and listen to what they say.
