Nice Parc for the kids, although i thought the bigger animals did not look too happy. I also did not appriciate the extra costs inside. 6 pounds for climbing and sliding down an airslide once. 6 pounds for a temporary tattoo. 6 pounds for a facepainting. But the kids had a wonderful time. The play areas and the rides felt safe.

We all enjoyed looking at the small animals and then there was a lovely water area which the children loved together with an immense amount of park area with various apparatus depending on the ages of the children. Then to cap it all they had a lovely time on the rides.
Therefore an excellent day out.

Although the day we visited it did rain for most of it, we did get to see the whole park and go on all the rides.
The chap in the lemur enclosure was a joy to talk to and the on-site Starbucks helped a lot, we enjoyed the feeding time talks for the animals.
Great picnic area, lovely train, lots of animals, even event days, Paw patrol were there when we visited.
The playground area is amazing, more places should really go and half a look and take note because there is so much there for all ages and abilities.

Was just talking to a friend about a visit a few years ago. It was very cold with snow etc but we had a great time .
The lemur enclosure was fantastic but we were unable to stroke them, got told off! Can see why but were able to at Banham.zoo. Parakeets Lorikeets funny..Very good experience and sadly cannot return for health reasons being unable to travel. No problems, writing this now as angered by some bad reviews presumably written by cretins. Keep up the good work and best wishe's. David

Drusillas is a superb small zoo and entertainment park. The place is very clean, well kept, and the staff are generally very good.

The zoo is extremely well run, and the animals look well and are clearly well cared for. The educational aspects all around are also excellent.

It would be nice if there was some better quality food readily available, the burgers and hot dogs are decent enough, but some alternatives would be nice.

The entry price is good and any extras are all pretty reasonable (all except the inflated slide, which bizarrely is £5 a slide! I cant explain that, but just avoid this one aberration).

However nothing can really detract from the fact that Drusillars is an excellent, educational, fun and good value day out.

Fantastic day out for families (and adults if you want to feel like a kid again). So much to do here we didn't have enough time to do everything, will definitely be visiting again

My 8 year old did the Zookeeper for the Day experience for her birthday.

The day started at 10am were we were met by one of the zookeepers, Billie. Billie showed us around the back parts of the zoo which the public don't normally see - the kitchens, store rooms etc. My daughter made up the feeds for several animals (one feed involved weighing out 15g of live earthworms!). We then went around the different animal enclosures, cleaning them out and feeding them. A particular highlight for her was sitting in the meerkat enclosure with several meerkats eating food off her lap.

She fed the penguins, beavers, sloths, bats and capybaras. Billie explained lots about each of the animals as we went - where they live, what they eat, how long they live.

She then got to handle several animals that don't normally go on dispay (as they are used for showing to school groups). She held several snakes, a bearded dragon and pygmy hedgehog. Again, Billie explained a lot about each animal that she handled.

Overall, my daughter had an absolutely brilliant day. I thoroughly recommend it for any animal-lover.

We visited here at the beginning of July on a day trip from London. We had a feeding the Sloth experience booked for 3pm, so we had plenty of time to see the other inhabitants and we were not dissapointed. Everything from farm animals, to numerous different types of monkeys, meerkats, lizards, flamingos.......so on and so on! It was wonderful and having staff on hand to give tit bits of information was brilliant. There’s a fabulous play area with water sprays for the little ones which was being facilitated the day we were there, it was 28 degrees. I had my 2 teenagers there with me, and given half a chance they’d have been in too! There are lots of interactive challenges for little ones throughout the park, I only wish I’d known about this place when mine were little ones. We had lunch In the cafe/restaurant, standard fare, burgers, chicken burgers, hot dogs etc, it was fine, teenagers love it. The sloth experience was absolutely fantastic, Curly the sloth was a little reluctant to come and see us, but the corn on the cob soon enticed her down from her snoozing post. The park assistant was fabulous and so full of information, she really helped make one of my bucket list items the absolute best! I will never forget it! Well worth a visit and for me, paying for the experience was worth every penny.

A bit pricey if theres a lot of you, but theres so much for kids to do they are busy all day. The zoo part is so nice, large enclosures but not so large you cant see the animals. Volunteers were very welcoming, informative and helpful. A really great day out and worth the money!

Took my 2 year old along with the extended family for the day. We followed the path through the zoo and we all got to see a wide range of animals that looked very well cared for without having to queue or wait for a gap in other people. Lots of interactive features that would also educate older kids. Mine loved taking the provided book around and using the stamps to mark off when he'd seen various animals. The fun fair had some great rides for little ones that had my son talking about the place for days afterwards. A fantastic day out for folk of all ages.

Brilliant zoo and park. Loved that there were steps near some of the enclosures for the little ones to see. Lots to see and do. My two year old loved the little rides at the end. Only down side was the lack of picnic benches for eating your own food.
