Animals and play area great but they need to sort out the catering side. Far too long a wait to get served, not massive queues just same person takes the order, takes payment and then sorts out the food. Need a separate area to collect food and other staff getting it ready be a lot quicker

Nice day out with kids. My suggestion is not to skip anything, and if there is queue just wait it is worth it.

Oscar did the kids Photographer for the day.
It was absolutely awesome.
So well organised, so much fun and so informative. Oscar learned lots both about taking photographs and the animals.
Julie the Zoo Keeper is amazing and Stuart the photography was brilliant giving tips and helping the children feel confident with their cameras.
We got some awesome photos of the day and some amazing photos of the animals.
Thank you Drusillas 🐒

We are very pleased to visit again after lockdown. So much fun at every turn especially the climbing and water area. We have an annual pass and it means we can do sections or spend the whole day. Definitely recommend getting one. The staff are always helpful and the animals look well loved.

Great day out for all the family, a good variety of a animals to see and most of the rides small children can go on with an adult. The water play area was a big hit with the children after walking around in the heat!

The park and zoo is fantastic. Definitely a good day with the family and the kids loved it. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The animals at the zoo looked happy and well looked after. An educational walk around the zoo is a must.

Restaurants have a very long queue though. To avoid waiting long, we went to the Explorer's Cafe instead of the Oasis Cafe. I have to say that the Explorer's Cafe was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The menu is is limited and the price is very expensive. I bought a whole cheese and tomato pizza for £13.95, the quality was so bad that I could immediately tell it was a £2 frozen pizza brought from Iceland. The tables seemed sticky and the lady who brought the food to our table seemed annoyed. The coffee shop next to the restaurant had a long queue as well. I waited more than half hour to be served.

Overall, definitely worth visiting, but best to take your own food and drink to avoid the restaurants.

We visited with four children - two aged 5 and two aged 8. They all really enjoyed it. I thought the older boys might not be impressed with the rides as much as the younger ones but they definitely seemed to. I’d say Drusillas is mainly aimed at younger children though. I think any older than around eight wouldn’t get the benefit from it. A lovely family day out though.

My daughter had a zoo keeper experience, she had such an enjoyable day she couldn’t stop talking about it. Simon the zoo keeper that looked after her was great she thought he was amazing.
Would really recommend this experience!

The 'Keeper for the Day' experience far surpassed our expectations and in the words of my 8yo daughter, 'it was the best day of my life'.

Our keeper Sam was absolutely amazing. He made us feel so welcome, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable and had such fantastic stories and facts to keep an 8yo (and parent) captivated.

Sam was an asset to Drusillas: we could really tell how much consideration, kindness and care goes into looking after your animals and wider conservation. We loved meeting so many different animals and hearing about their personalities, histories and the dynamics of the community within their enclosures. We have been to Drusillas countless times- it is a very well loved zoo for us- however the experience gave us a completely new perspective. It will be a memory which will last a lifetime and Sam has truly inspired our 8yo.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the day to all ages and my younger daughter (and husband!) are waiting in anticipation to become a Keeper for the Day for her 7th Birthday present later this year.

We visited during half term. It has many rides, the great thing is you don’t have to wait a long time for each ride.
