Wonderful place for the young children. My son of 3 and daughter of 5 had a wonderful time on the rides and loved the play areas and animals! Brilliant prices. Ticket price includes all the rides which we didn't no until we got there. Kids can go on the rides as many times as they liked for free. Love the limit of 30 families per day due to the pandemic, no queuing times no over crowding. Hand sanitisers for adults and children everywhere. Thumbs up

We booked a penguin feeding encounter as a present for our daughter's 7th birthday and it has made her year! They whole park is so well laid out. We went around first as a family and then my daughter and I were met by a friendly zookeeper who took us on a short tour of the staff areas behind the scenes. We then got to see the nesting boxes and feed the penguins. Such a great experience. The zookeeper looking after us was really knowledgeable and told us all about the birds. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or my daughter. After the encounter we then watched owls and otters being fed and the kids played in the play park and splash pad - oh and a ride on the safari train and carrousel. Great day had by all and a very memorable birthday present. Would highly recommend an animal encounter.

Well this was a great bucket list item ticked! Despite the gloomy weather, I had the most special day feeding and (in some cases) tickling creatures I've only ever seen on the telly! Our Zookeeper mentor was kind, generous and happy to share her wealth of knowledge. My husband was allowed in to some of the 'behind the scenes' enclosures ensuring that we had a treasure trove of photographic memories - although I have to say 521 photos was too many!!
Favourite moments: trying to get Clementine the Capybara eat her beans (she wasn't having any of it), encouraging the sloth to grip the corn on the cob whilst holding my breath against the stinky fruit bats, peeling peanuts for Buzz the brave Meerkat, trying to tickle Gretl the Hairy Armadillo and, being climbed on by gentle Lemurs. Heaven!

A very manageable zoo to visit with a toddler. I really like that there is a flow-through route so you don't have to be looking at a map all the time to figure out where to go to next.

We took our two Granddaughter's aged 2 1/2 and 5 with us. There was something there for both their age groups to keep them occupied. Especially the Hello Kitty secret garden. Some rides I went on with the youngest and she so enjoyed doing the "driving". A really great family day out and highly recommend it.

Big thanks to Julie (keeper) and Stuart (photographer) for a fabulous photography day on 4th July 2021. They were informative, enthusiastic and intent on making sure we had a good experience. It was amazing to go inside some of the animal enclosures and see the park from the keeper’s point of view.

Amazing day out for children and adults alike. Best suited to children under 11. Great splash pool area and playgrounds. Our grandson loved the animals as well. Very educational for Junior school children. The park was clean. We went mid-week and we didn't queue for rides.

Not so busy, but all parts of the park open.
Staff all young, very helpful, and polite. Both grand children enjoyed the day.
They've obviously been maintaining the place over the last year, all looks quite fresh and could see staff cleaning windows etc in the zoo area.
Tea and coffee very drinkable which is always a good sign.
Food not over priced, plenty of spaces for a picnic if you prefer.
Great day out, would recommend for families with young children.
Thank you to all the staff.

It was my 1st experience for myself and my boy as it was his birthday and I was incredibly impressed.

For the money we paid I'd definitely go again I never realised just how much there was to do.
I would highly recommend this place. My 3 year old loved it just as much as myself. The food was lovely and the service was spot on. The only critical thing would be just the doughnut factory the young girl was on her own she didn't even acknowledge that we were there to be served. She was busy but she could have said sorry won't keep you too long plus I was expecting a little more variety of doughnuts, but overall I loved it and if it wasn't for that is not had a bad word to say about that place.
I will say about the cleanliness of the place was also second to none.

Well done drucillas will definitely be back again.

We went yesterday 5 adults a 2 year old and a baby.. Arrived at 10.00 left at 4.30. A lovely full busy day we loved it so many small animals to see and to get close to. A lovely dinosaur area, Hello Kitty rides were good. A large picnic area full of picnic tables.
Lots of places to get drinks, ice creams or lunches. Our 2 yr old did not stop she loves the adventure playgrounds and the water play area she did not get bored. We were so impressed by the clean toilets and loads of hand sanitizers around the place and the fact it was not crowed and no queues. It is really worth the admission price as you can spend a whole day there. I feel it is really based around the younger child maybe up to 9 yrs.
A great day totally recommend and will be back.

Very good - the maze could do with an update. Main restaurant closes during term time. Clearly care about their animals. Fantastic play areas

Lovely day out! So much to do and see for all ages! Just be aware that there is a one way system around the zoo part and the rides don't open until 11am

Booked our first visit on 2nd July and spent 4 hours here. Was having a very nice day with the variety of animals available. Was very nice to actually see all of the animals unlike other parks where you may only see 50% if you're lucky. Me and my partner visited with our 5 year old who is just tall enough now to enjoy rides by himself (as you can imagine this made him extremely excited). Was all fine until the end of our day, when we let our son go by himself (we waited at the gate for him) onto the hello kitty teacups at 3:30pm. He was the only child waiting for the ride..when the staff member which looked like a teen finally got off of his phone and opened the gate to let him in, even after I had tried to notify him we was waiting. He opened the gate, let our 5 years old in and went back to the hut on his phone. Therefore, our son was left looking at us wondering how he opens the door into the cup. He tried pulling it, sliding etc. I then tried to get the attention of said staff member which took more than one attempt to help him. By this time, my son had worked it out for himself and the staff member grunted and pushed the button for the ride. There was absolutely no interaction with our son what so ever or apology. He shouldn't be working around young children and needs to be moved to an area that suits his terrible attitude.
We didn't see any other staff member on their phone so we're sure this isn't normal practice. It didn't ruin our sons day thankfully, but as parents it's very fraustrating. Any child should be treated with the same respect as an adult.
Overall, the whole park was a good day out and enjoyable. We would recommend to others.
The dinosaur area could be improved a lot as for our Dino mad boy it wasn't very satisfying. The train ride was also another disappointing part of the day.
Food prices were normal for a park...expensive as always which is why we always take our own.

(In my opinion, management need to talk to the guy from the ride stated above).

Highly recommend! We took our 5yr old and he (and we) loved it! To be honest he preferred it better than Legoland! Rides are fun, so is the playground and interesting zoo on the top of it (not to mention free car park and no queues!). Will definitely go back! Thanks!
