Had a great day out with about 10 people, toddlers, teenagers, and adults. Play area and soft play was brilliant which entertained them for hours. Zoo was good and had a few close ups with the animals.

Wish we had a park like this near us.

An excellent day out with plenty to do. An actual attraction that lasts the full day. Only downside is quite expensive entry and food (you can take your own).

I find it sad that there's no family tickets.
So, I would say it's NOT family friendly.
Also because children 2+ are being considered adults in their prices. So adult prices for kids.
Definitely not family friendly.

The zoo itself is not very good. A little boring.
And if they wouldn't have the play ground area and the little rides, we would've had super disappointed. But you saved yourself a 1 Star review for this.

I wouldn't recommend it for a Zoo. Legoland is cheaper.

I myself worked at a zoo years ago, I know how you need the money to take care of the animals too, but personally I think it's overpriced if it's just for the zoo.

Go to the London one if you can.

I'd recommend using your clubcard points and taking your own food, otherwise it'll hurt your wallet. Very clean and tidy with lots of staff around keeping it that way too, and a district lack of wasps which is always good! Not much in the way of rides but plenty of play areas that kept our 3x under 10s occupied for the day. Bring your towels for the splash park.

Over the last 40 years I have taken 3 generations of children to multiple UK attractions. I would say this park has given the best all round family experience. Everybody enjoyed the animals and the 2 year old had great fun on the amusements, as did his adult relatives. With the exception of a few activities, rides were included in the ticket price, Our visit was on a weekday during school holidays in August with good weather and there were no queues. The amusement rides are more suited to younger children.

The staff were friendly and the whole park felt bright, well maintained and gardeners had done a good job too.

This is a well thought out attraction, which on a dry day will will give immense fun to adults and younger children.

Fantastic family day out. We had annual passes and our young children loved each and every visit. Animals, rides and climbing play grounds (for different ages) - everything you could want.
It is always clean and constantly evolving. The staff are fantastic and most importantly the animals are all very well cared for.
A wonderful day out - over and over again.

Great fun for the little ones. Took daughter for third bday and she loved it. Lots of interaction. Only little grumble I would say is there is a bit of a lack of anything other fast food available (there was a packed lunch option in one of the places I think) but, we took packed lunch for the kids so wasn't too much of a problem.

We had a lovely day out here today but I do think the animal enclosures are far too small. They had many animals restricted for the time we were there such as 4 goats in a pen in the farm yard section and most of the animals to be fair had limited space.
The price is REALLY high! Almost £100 for one adult and two children. We also had to pay extra inside the park for the large bouncy castle as you have to buy wrist bands to use it. Another £10. The traffic and roadworks were so bad next to the park that we didnt arrive until 12pm. (40 minute tailback on the road leading up to drusillas at the moment)
The park has a lovely play/park area and the splash pad had my two amused for ages. The train ride doesn't really show much at all except the camels! Not sure the route was very well thought through! The whole park was very clean and well maintained and had lots of places to get refreshments and seating to have a picnic . We did bring our own food but also bought some bits too and the cafe was nice. Food was nice quality, my only comment is that if you're vegan, bring your own food. They only had a vegan pie on offer or chips. No vegan ice creams at all or any desserts etc. Shame really as so many people cant eat dairy.
I'm glad we went but the small enclosures for animals was upsetting really and the price is quite high, we wont be back. It's not worth the £100 spent at all but I'd imagine with all those mouths to feed the price has to reflect that. Also, at the moment you cannot do any of the walk through enclosures due to Covid-19 restrictions so that's a large part you miss out on.
