Changed a lot since last visit. Play area vastly expanded and more small rides which is nice. Train ride is OK would be nice to see more animals on the way round. Animails all seem OK the bat area is interesting. Car park is good, toilet facilities good, it was a school day so mostly under fives and a school party but still busy but not oppresively so.

Quite a small zoo but plenty for younger kids to keep them entertained. Food and drink extreamly expensive so worth taking your own. Was £6 for two v small coffees. Play area fabulous staff were lovely and informative especially the keeper in the lemur walkthrough.

Not the first time I visit Drusillas and never disappointed. The zoo is great, you can interact with the animals (always supervised by a member of staff) and that is lovely for little ones, and not that little... :-). Then, the part with the play area for children and restaurants is amazing( be sure you take spare clothes if sunny as you will need them.. :-)) and all food at reasonable prices... I will Definitely come back as it is a wonderful and enjoyable place to spend a day with your family.

We went to Drusillas Park at the back end of the school Easter break and it was a rather overcast day, but still at 10am the main Car Park was filling up! There was enough cashier windows open to ensure we didn't have to queue up long to get in. From there you enter the zoo part and as everyone came in it did get a bit busy as there were no other routes through, but once you came out and into the main park it opened up and we could walk at our own pace.

There are plenty of animals to look at for the children and some nice activities that they can do at various points, such as timing how long they can stand on one leg near the flamingo's or seeing how fast you can run and comparing it to other animals. Then you go through to the play area!

We visited most rides at least twice, and in some instances our child got off the ride only to run round to the front and get on it again! There was certainly plenty there for a young child to play on. We had a few spots of rain, but nothing that lasted, which was good as there didn't seem to be too much to do under cover.

We also bought our lunch there, and although it was a rather limited menu, the price and the size of the portion was certainly good. Managed to keep us going for the reminder of the day. By the time we were leaving the car park was nearly empty, but it was certainly a good place to visit. Possibly not at the height of summer though!

Nice and clean both for animals and humans. This could be due to the start of the summer. Food outlets good value. Worth a visit.

Had a really lovely day at Drusillas. The animals are so well looked after. Having been to numerous zoos and wildlife parks and seeing the animals in small cages, looking unhappy, it was refreshing to see the animals in large, well kept areas. The play areas are amazing for the kids. My 3yr old was disappointed at not being able to play in the water park but it was pretty cold. We are going to definitely return in the summer.

Lovely family day out, quite expensive but we spent 4 1/2 hours there.car park is free and easy to park. Entry was also good with staff that seemed happy. Lovely and clean and the enclosures for the animals were clean and fresh, guess this is that it is the start of the summer season.. in all a good day out, would I recommend ....yes.
Would I go again yes but in a few months.
The food outlets were good value, food hot.

Well done all.

Staff couldnt do enough for you and try to go above and beyond to help. Park not massively big around about 10 rides but the encounter with the animals is amazing and cafe prices are reasonable too (£4.50 for a hot kids lunch)or they have plenty of picnic areas if you would prefer. I would definitely recommend this attraction to anyone thinking about visiting with younger kids

As soon as you go in you go through the zoo. It takes about an hour, lots of monkeys to see. It's a good idea to find out about feeding times before you get there and time your visit accordingly.
After that, there's the play area and rides. Rides are only for younger kids really, older ones would get bored. Food's ok if you want fried stuff and chips .
We were admitte to find out that even after paying £20 each to get in, the were still a few "added extras" to pay for. Not good really. These extras are also positioned around the picnic area, so kids see them and want to go and try them as soon as they've finished eating .
Not a bad day out and just enough to keep kids entertained without feeling you haven't seen it all. But £20 is too much to pay for what it is. But so's everything nowadays.

We went on a Saturday in April ,We took a 5 and 6 year old boy and for the play area for kids this was perfect. Both kids had an amazing time saw lots of animals in the zoo. Went on the rides without queing for more than a few minutes overall I would definately recommend a trip here if you have children in this age group. We had to travel 2 and half hours to get their but it was definately worth it.

Expensive to get in and some additional attraction charges once your in. Good selection of animals in the zoo

Kids enjoyed the visit to see the animals - favourites meerkats, lemur enclosure and feeding the rainbow lorikeets. Very expensive though and charging extra for slides, climbing wall is excessive

I bought this for my daughter as she is a very keen animal lover and particularly interested in conservation. She had a fabulous day. The keeper she was working with was very knowledgeable and personable. It was very well organised and covered a good mixture of animals, providing a useful insight into the reality of being a zookeeper.

I went with my 2 children - aged 6 & 9. Plenty for both of them to do though I would say it's aimed at children under 10. The zoo area is lovely though so if you like animals this is nice whatever your age!! Definitely worth a visit for Hello Kitty fans too as lovely Hello Kitty themed rides.

First off ,if you know when your going ,book in advance , family four saves £8, not a lot I know but still £8, have not been here for a couple of years , and still throughly enjoyed it , it nice that it has everything , zoo , rides , play area , water area , we went round the zoo once , and another bit of advice , go round it again a few hours later , all the animals are out more etc... love feeding the birds , only a quid for a little nectar , well worth it , on a nice sunny day I reckon with kids under 12 you could easily spend 6 hours here , so much for them to do , massive massive play areas , not sure if indoor play area you had to pay for as unfortunately we ran out of time,
We ended up eating at the explorers cafe (nearer the end) as we found it a lot more quieter as the other place to eat was near the outdoor play area , food wasn’t too bad and price was reasonable too, came to just over £25 for four of us and we all left full.
The rides here are aimed at the younger kids , my 5 year old loved them all, and my 10 year old enjoyed them too.
I was also impressed that the whole of the park was wheel chair friendly and stroller friendly ,
My favourite part of this zoo is definetly the lemurs (favourite animals) and definetly recommend going there at there feeding times.
All the staff we talked too were very nice and all the zoo keepers we talk to were very knowledgeable and didn’t seem to mind giving up 5 minutes of their time to talk to you.
Thank you for a great day drusillas

Second Visit and it gets better. My kids love it. All day entertainment for whole family (even though parents get knackered by the end of it)
